The cosmically designed conclusion to the Spartan Riders series.

They've been through hell and back and have the scars to prove it.

Kade "Moose" Hunter doesn't tolerate drama. He's cocky, unapologetic, and all about the quiet side of life.

That's why Mouse fits him so well.

Angel "Mouse" Grace isn't like the other women hanging around the club. She's sweet and gentle, and when Moose gets her engines revving, her passion burns bright. She's the yin to his yang, and Moose is almost certain she's the one, but life is never that easy for a Spartan.

The catch? Their town is falling apart. A cesspool of crime and addiction, the Spartans face yet another challenge: confront crime lord Manuel Contreras and risk war, or worse, death. When Angel's kid sister rolls into town and takes a shine to the Spartan's mortal enemy, Moose is torn between doing what's best for his family…and what's best for his love life.

Will he be able to strike a balance, or lose everyone he cares about in the process?

"Cocky" is the thrilling conclusion that Spartan Riders fans have been waiting for. Filled with darkness, pain, beauty, and laughter, the ending to this saga packs a bittersweet punch that's guaranteed to please.

Cocky by J.C. Valentine
GENRE: MC Romance
NARRATION: Narrative
BOOK DETAILS: Book #5 In the Spartan Riders MC Series
AUDIO AVAILABLE? No

THE STORY:
The blurb explains the story well and I don’t want to divulge too much info as it will give away too many spoilers, so I am going to get straight to my thoughts on the book.

description

MY THOUGHTS:
This is the first book in the Spartan Riders MC series I have read, and also a first time read for J.C. Valentines work.

Cocky tells Angel (Mouse) and Kade's (Moose) story. Having not read the previous books in the series I was still able to follow the storyline and enjoyed reading about the other characters that played their parts in previous books in the series.

Physical chemistry was definitely not an issue; Angel was a good match for Kades alpha male character and I enjoyed the push and pull of their relationship as it evolved. The author spends more time concentrating on the developing love between the pair rather than MC issues which was different for this type of book category and although there was action, adventure and violence throughout the book, there is not as much as you’d expect from this genre.

I gave Cocky 4 Blushing stars.

ARC kindly given in exchange for an honest review

Cocky is the fifth and final book in the Spartan Riders MC Series, although it can be read as a standalone I would suggest at least reading a couple of the books in the series first. I feel this way for a few reasons the main one being there is an underlying thread that is present through each of the books and is wrapped up with this one and believe me to get the full impact of the ending you will want to have prior knowledge of Manuel Contreras and what he is fully capable of doing.

Cocky is a great final installment to this awesome series! Not only did  I get to read about Moose and Angel,   I also got what feels like a huge epilogue of the Spartan Riders. I love this Series!

Moose ♥️ after everything that Moose has been through in the past, I was dying for his book and this sweet possessive biker doesn't disappoint. The way he and Angel handle their relationship not only did it keep me glued to the pages but it was definitely getting hot in here while reading it. SCORCHING!!
I love all these characters, the banter between these bad boy bikers and the chemistry between the couples is why this series is one of my favorites. I am sad that I may never read about them again, but I will never say NEVER because I for one am hoping to read about an all grown up Ash!  *hint hint*
I was hoping to get a little more in depth details on what happened with some of the couples, but overall an awesome conclusion to the Spartan Riders Series!

For the first time in his life Kade "Moose" Hunter has met a woman who he thinks might just be worth keeping around, she's beautiful, sweet, caring, and doesn't have an ounce of drama in her... which is the best trait a woman could have according to Moose. He's seen what drama can do to a relationship, and he wants absolutely no part of it, he's a laid back and easy going kind of guy most of the time, unless of course you ruffle his feathers... then look out! Every time he isn't with Angel his little "Mouse" he misses her, craves her attention, and that isn't normal for him, but it's definitely something he could get use to, all of his fellow club members have found their ol' ladies, and he thinks it might be time for him to do the same. But first he has to find a way to convince Mouse to accept his patch, he senses she is a bit of a commitment phoebe... good thing he knows just what it will take to change her mind!

As soon as Angel Grace met Moose she knew he was a good man, one that she could easily get attached too, and those were always the worst kind to get tangled up with, cause it usually leads to a broken heart. But little by little he has worked his way into her life, her bed, and her heart, and as scary as it is to accept that he belongs there, the more she realizes there is no way she could live without him there. But he wants more, he wants her to where his patch, and that is a commitment she isn't quite ready for... or is she?

But before she can really think about getting started on a future with him, her sister Rena blows back into town and turns her life upside down. It seems as though she has gotten herself tangled up in bit of a man mess of her own, and it has ties to the Spartan's, which means there is drama about to be stirred up. And the last thing Angel wants to have happen is her sister's mess to cause issues for Moose and his Spartans crew, or put a end to the best thing she has had come her way in a long time.

When you crack the cover on Cocky you will be reunited with some old friends, be introduced to a few new ones, and also get a up close and personal view of a man that has been lingering in the shadows for the last few installments of the series. The moment your eyes land on the page and you are graced with the presence of Kade "Moose" Hunter you will be mesmerized by every single inch of him, he, my friends, is a man worth knowing!! He can be alpha and stoic with the best of them, but every now and then he lets his sweet and caring side slip out, and that's when you need to watch your heart; and then of course there is that side where he becomes domineering and smooth, and that's when you know your about to become his prey... and all I can say is watch out for that one! This was such a great story, because it tied up loose ends for all our favorite couples in the club, and then gave us a glimpse into the future that Kade and Angel were about to get started on. I am sad to close the book on these characters, because they have given me so many great reading experiences, but I am also holding out hope Ms. Valentine, might bring them out again sometime, maybe tie them to a new MC series??? (Wouldn't that be awesome!!) At any rate, if you haven't had the chance to meet these wonderful characters I highly recommend you invite them into your world, they are certain to steal your heart, and treat you some truly unforgettable stories!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Moose and Angel are perfect for each other. They seem to complete one another. She is sassy but only to him. When her sister comes back, Angel knows trouble is coming. Moose wants Angel forever but she keeps talking of trial runs. He has to make her see that she is it for him. This book was great. The author takes us on a final journey with each of these characters. I love it when we get this. This one is definitely a must read.

Kade and Angel...
Moose and Mouse (how cute are those two nicknames)

This was my first time reading J.C Valentine and I am not disappointed. For an MC book, I felt that it ticked off all of my needs to make this an exciting read, as MC books should be.
I am a little bummed out that I started with the last book. There are quite a few people that talk in this story, although it is written in third person, and I wish I would’ve known their entire story beforehand. But, that didn’t deter this from being an awesome book, because it truly was. I just love knowing everything about everyone, lol.
I absolutely loved everything about Moose and Mouse. These two characters were simply PERFECT for each other. Their relationship went through some major highs and lows, and it was so beautifully written.
This boob had drama, action, angst, love, steam... you name it (like that thanksgiving parody song that rolled around the internet for a while, lol).
I can confidently say that I will purchase the rest of the Spartan Riders books in the series. I can’t wait to start from the beginning and then make my way back to this book again for another reread.
Loved it!

I couldn't wait to see how this series was going to end and I was not disappointed. It ended with everyone of the Spartan brothers getting the HEA they were meant to have.
This story is more about Moose and Mouse, which is two people who could not be more different but they work for each other. When Moose realizes that he wants more with Mouse, she wants to be independent and not be someones property. Can Moose change her mind?
This story covers everyone, including "Quick" & Gabby, "Country & Talia, "Repo" & Red, and "Taco" & Bambi. And it makes for a perfect ending to this great series.
If you are looking for an MC series that has all the sexy alpha males and the women they need, then this series is for you. So kick back and enjoy, I hope you love this series as much as I have.

Each biker and their women (popping out the kids and 3 are knocked up, one on her first and two on their third) that had their own book had their HEA in their own chapters in this book, and a few other chapters before hand in their POV. Even Manuel had a few chapters for him, his daughter and her new man a fellow Spartan brother Cricket. Now for Mouse and Moose their were literally humping in the first chapter and 2 pages in, their chemistry was high on the Richter scale and stayed like that throughout the whole book.

I received an advanced copy of this title from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

This is my fist time reading JC Valentine and I definitely was not disappointed. I found the book to be intriguing and exciting filled with adventure and romance. Following Moose and Mouses relationship had me hanging on the edge of my kindle. I am excited to read the beginnings of this series... Probably was not smart to start at the end of the series but I am glad I did and look forward to rewinding and starring at the beginning.

Through four previous books readers have become fully invested in the lives of the men and women of the Spartan Riders MC and their roller coaster rides to HEA. Through each book in this series readers have laughed at and been charmed by these rough around the edges bikers and the sweet and eclectic heroines who tame them. This final installment brings everything full circle though, ties up loose ends, while introducing readers to another unforgettable couple that kept me glued to the pages from the first page to the last.

Kade “Moose” Hunter’s always been seen as the good guy, honest to a fault, and loyal to the brotherhood. He’s easygoing but quick to fight when needed as a member of the Spartan Riders and as he sees it, Angel is his reward. It’s a rocky road to HEA though due to her fears and it makes for a sweet and endearing romance that I rooted for every step of the way. Kade’s a man’s man, not afraid to show his softer side, and his trying to woo Angel brought a smile to my face as he didn’t always say or do the right thing. He tried to always be her hero though and for that I fell for him wholeheartedly. His loyalty and desire to see those he cares for have a happy life endeared him to me too and he‘s a good match to Angel’s overt sweetness.

Angel Grace had a rough childhood where her sister was the only one she could count on. Love wasn’t guaranteed and getting used by others was far too common in their youth. While they were a united front when they were young, their connection became frayed as the years progressed because of Rena’s wild child tendencies. Seeing her sister falter had her clinging to being the good girl and her quietness and cautiousness gives true meaning to her nickname of “Mouse”. Angel appears shy to the other brothers, easy to tame, but when she’s with Kade a sex kitten side emerges. He brings out an inner strength in her when it comes to helping her sister too and it ultimately made them a formidable pair. She may be tiny in size, but she’s bold when it comes to her plentiful interludes with Kade which brought a blush or two to my cheeks.

This was a fast-paced story that juggled many storylines, finishing up some previous threads while introducing a few new ones that are nicely wrapped up by the conclusion. The romance between Moose and Mouse is sweet yet super sexy and it made for a compelling tale of opposites attracting. In the outside world their temperaments may have been very different, but in their quiet moments they are perfectly in sync with interactions that made me laugh and blush. For a story set in the MC world, the suspense took a backseat to the romance between the main couple and the updates of previous couples. That’s not to say that I wasn’t kept on the edge of my seat though as the remains of the drug cartel are still having an influence on the Riders’s hometown. A plan is underway to bring Manuel Contreras down using an unexpected character (although I figured it out right away) and it was an engaging storyline that I wish had gotten dug into deeper. For the bad guy, Manuel wasn’t easy to define and his interactions with his daughter brought out a charming side to him. The pace of this story is well done too for the most part, though the ending was a bit rushed when it came to Manuel. His future, and that of his daughter, was a bit too easily wrapped up and I’m definitely left wanting more where they’re concerned. Fans of MC romances will find much to like about this book, and this series as a whole, as romances are nicely balanced with heart-pounding action and immensely likable characters. Readers will be left cheering by this series ender and ready for more from the talented Ms. Valentine.

••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--COCKY is the fifth and final instalment in JC Valentine’s contemporary, adult SPARTAN RIDERS MC erotic, MC romance series focusing on the men and women of the Spartan Riders MC. This is Kade "Moose" Hunter, and Angel "Mouse" Grace’s story line but also focuses on several other relationships including Angel’s sister Rena, and her affair with crime lord Manuel Contreras.

Told from several third person perspectives including Kade and Angel, COCKY is an ensemble story line that follows the set up and take down of the Cruiz Cartel, currently headed by crime lord Manuel Contreras. While Club enforcer Kade Hunter battles his affections for Angel Grace, her sister Rena struggles with her past, a struggle that now involves the man with whom she is falling in love. As the Spartan Riders affect a deal with the Cruiz Cartel, the FBI sit in wait to take down the man ultimately in charge.

Kade ‘Moose’ Hunter never thought he would fall in love or settle for one woman but meeting Angel Grace, a night club waitress, found our hero making plans for the future including the possibility of claiming ownership of the woman he calls ‘Mouse. Angel Grace is a strong willed, independent heroine who knows a thing or two about struggling to survive. She is no-one’s property including the man with whom she is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

COCKY follows several intersecting paths that reveal the connections, relationships and blood lines between the Spartan Riders MC, the FBI and the Cruiz Cartel. Most of the previous story line couples and characters play secondary and supporting roles. The premise is revealing ; the romance is passionate and intense; the characters are colorful and engaging. My only issue is with the quick resolution to the conflict(s) where most of the intimate details are never revealed, behind the scenes, and left to the reader’s imagination. The SPARTAN RIDERS MC series is a lighter look at a fictional MC, an MC whose membership believes in love and a happily ever after.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Cocky is the conclusion and the fifth book in the Spartan Riders MC Series from J.C. Valentine. You need to go back and read the first four before reading this book. It just makes for better reading and I have loved each and every one of them.

A cesspool of crime and addiction, the Spartans face yet another challenge: confront crime lord Manuel Contreas and risk war, or worse death. When Angel's kid sister rolls into town and takes a shine to the Spartan's mortal enemy Moose if torn between doing what is best for his family...and what's best for this love life. Will he be able to strike a balance, or lose everyone he cares about in the process?

I loved this book and devoured it in practically one sitting. I have read and love each and every book in this series so I love the Spartan's. All of them. I have always known that when we got the story of Moose that it would be absolutely amazing and it didn't disappoint. Moose hasn't had a good life and a lot of stuff has happened to him in the past. Now though he has meet Mouse and is thinking about claiming her. About a future. Moose is super laid back and he doesn't do drama. It is the thing that destroys relationships and he wants no part of it. He is just super laid back and chill but if you make him mad you better run. He's one of those kinds of people. Not quick to get mad but when you push it and make him mad you better freaking run for your life. Mouse is perfect for him. She doesn't do drama either and when these two get going their super passionate and will just about melt your kindle in you hands. The only problem he can see is finding a way to convince Angel, his mouse, to wear his patch. He just has this feeling deep down that Angel isn't one to fall into a relationship. She just doesn't do them. He isn't far off base as she knows that falling for a good man and that he is under her skin and wants more....more is what she just doesn't want. Can she commit like Moose wants her too? She's gets a huge surprise when her sister she hasn't seen in years breaks into her house basically and scares the crap out of Angel. She knows that her sister is going to bring trouble into her life. She just didn't expect it to be the kind of trouble to mess with her life and her relationship. I loved these two characters so much and every single second of their journey. This is a great conclusion to this series. A series that I am sad to see end. I have loved every single book in this series and the time I have spent with these characters. I can not wait to see what J.C. Valentine comes up with next.

Well... i'm extremely sad. End of the series! *sob* i wanted a book for every character in here!

I can say with a heavy heart that although it's the end this has been an incredible series.

This book concentrates mostly on Moose and Mouse aka Kade and Angel.

Kade loves the feelings Angel gives him but he's reluctant to settle down. He's not sure he wants anything permanent but he knows for now Angel is what he wants. Things are still up in the air with the club. After the demise of Cruize someone else popped up in her place. Manuel Contreras. He's unknown to the Spartans but they know he's bad news. The Spartans are wondering if they'll ever have peace again.

Angel is happy with her arrangement with Kade. She knows it's casual and she's quite content to leave it like that. After the way her parents were she never wants to get controlled by a man. She had to bring her sister up and grew up pretty quick. But the more time she spends with Kade the more he crumbles her walls.

Can they overcome their commitment issues? And can the Spartans survive a brother sleeping with enemy and a baby sister thrown in the mix?

I loved Kade and Angel. They were so perfect for each other even though they were opposites. I loved how Kade knew when to back off even though his feelings were hurt sometimes in doing so. And Angel had absolutely no chance of saying no to him. She tried but her heart belonged to him.

I loved how this series was written. You get everyone's point of view even the bad guys!! I love that because i'm really nosy and i like to know what everyone is thinking and you get that with this series.

The storyline and plot throughout kept you on the edge of your seat. The happily ever afters left me smiling big and happy.

All the characters i fell in love with and this book wraps up all their stories perfectly. It brought a tear to my eye seeing them all happy.

Highly recommend this series. It's original and sexy and biker loving heaven!!! I'm seriously hoping for a Spartans Kids series. Please JC we NEED their stories!!!

3.5 STARS

It was very hard for me to write a review for Cocky because a blogger’s review can taint a book and cause others to skip it in favor of something else. I don’t want those readers who regularly look at my reviews to decide against Cocky just because I gave it a 3.5-star review. I never want to be the blogger that says “I don’t like this, so obviously you shouldn’t read it. I liked Cocky and J.C. Valentine’s storytelling I also try to find the good in books even if they weren’t something I personally cared for. As you know if you follow my reviews, I truly love MC romance and honestly, I was looking forward to reading Cocky. I’ve heard of J.C. Valentine before and she seems to maintain a fairly large following for her Spartan Riders series. By the time I read Cocky and went to place my review on Goodreads, there were already a good number of 5-Star reviews that left me second guessing my own feelings on the book. Ultimately though, as hard of a time as I had reading Cocky, I couldn’t rate the book as a 5-Star read when I struggled to get through 80% of the book (and then DNF). I struggled with how I would justify a review that didn’t rate as high as some of those already posted. Here’s what it boiled down to for me. This book is billed as a standalone, but it’s not. So much of the story revolves around the previous books in the series, almost to the point that I would call it a progressive plot. In my opinion, too much time was spent condensing the previous books to allow Cocky to be the standalone that it could have been. Also, while I absolutely love Duel POV, Cocky has multiple viewpoints. Since so many characters have a voice in Cocky, I found Mouse and Moose’s story easily overshadowed and at one point I abandoned them altogether. Also, there was little character progression in my opinion. I did think that sex was hot. J.C. Valentine seems to have a decent following and I can see why readers would enjoy her MC books it just so happens that Cocky wasn't the book for me..

With any beloved series that I'm completely invested in, I'm always conflicted by the final book. There's the whole need to know how it all ends for one, but then I have the sadness that follows when it's over for the other, so Cocky is that way for me, as Spartan Riders as been a beloved series that will be tattooed on my heart forever! That's not to say that I won't read it over and over again when I feel nostalgic, because I will, but you know, I still feel like I will NEVER EVER get enough of all the new stories! Anyway, before I fall too far in my sad rabbit hole, I'll try to get a review done. For the most part, this story follows Kade, aka Moose, who finally finds his drama free person in Angel, aka Mouse. Now, he's never thought that he would settle down, but fate has a way of hitting these alpha men when they least expect it, and they fall hard. These two have serious chemistry that lights the sheets on fire during sexy times, as she definitely matches his freak in bed, while being a quieter & calm woman the other times. While they are exploring the feelings they are catching, her drama filled, trouble filled sister comes to town, finding new trouble with a man that his club has issues with. Then there's another member who finds his person, a woman that he falls quickly for that will also cause serious drama, so how Blake, their fearless president fixes all of this will be anyone's guess. And that's where all these crazy twists come into play, which in turn, drops crazy amounts of f-bombs down everywhere. It all pans out in ways that I never saw coming though, as J.C. Valentine keeps in her brilliance for one last big ride for the Spartans, so yeah, it was a last stand of a club that I will miss, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

All good things must come to an end but when the ending is amazing its takes some of the sadness away. Cocky is the conclusion to the Spartan Riders series by J.C. Valentine. Cocky takes you on a ride of danger, darkness, pain and love. Cocky ties up any loose ends dealing with the Spartan Riders. We also get a glimpse of our other favorite Spartan Riders.

Moose has not had an easy and perfect life. His life is dark, dirty and dangerous. So he has no room for drama in his life and for the first time in his life he thinks he has found the woman for him his Angel. Mouse is beautiful inside and out, caring and sweet. When she lays her eyes on Moose she knows he is a good man one she could lose herself in. That’s her fear losing herself but the draw is too hard to resist and Mouse allows Moose into her heart and her bed.
Trouble in the form of Mouse sister Rena comes to town and gets connected to the enemy of the Spartan Riders. Which is sure to bring drama to the Spartan Riders. Mouse doesn’t want that for Moose or his brothers. The town is also in danger, corruption and evil has come knocking Crime Lord Manuel Contreras. Will Mouse be able to stop the mess created by her sister from touching The Spartan Riders? Will Moose and Mouse be able to survive the mess? Will the Spartan Riders be able to save the town. Cocky is a must read! I was captivated from the beginning to the end. I couldn’t put down Cocky while at the same time I didn’t want the series to end. J.C. Valentine continues to write books the make me wanna scream, laugh and cry.

Kade “Moose” Hunter has something good going on in his life. Angel “Mouse” Grace has not had a happy past. But there’s someone that makes her very happy. Besides these new main characters, we get to catch up on some of the other Spartan Riders but it all seems a little bittersweet. We also catch up with their significant others – one in particular had me going “oh that’s right”. At some point, I may just have to have a Spartan Riders marathon.

Our author has created a female character that loves the pleasure that only one man can give her. Angel has apprehensions when it comes to taking any steps that may lead to a relationship. But the fun part of said relationship is not something she has an issue with. Kade is a man who knows what he wants and our author shows how men and women think differently when it comes to building the connection between them.

I will say that as I was reading, the author gave me a feeling that even with things brewing that the story was setting me up for something else. Part of that may be because of the suspense she creates as she brings things to a head. And I learned never to assume where the author is trying to take her readers because you will only end up getting a surprise that you don’t see coming. But did I get an ending? It didn’t feel like one so I’ll just have to wait and see what this author has coming next in her writing arsenal.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

What an awesome conclusion to series!

I loved the way this book, even though it was Angel (Mouse) and Kade's (Moose) story, was also laced with smaller chapters of each of the characters we have been lucky enough to read about throughout the series!

We got a sneak peak into a growing infatuation between Mouse's sister Rena and her Mysterious Mafia-man, as well as perfectly composed snippets into the lives of all our faves - Blake & Gabby (GRIT), Repo a&d Red (VIGOR) and Taco &Bambi (BRASH).

One of favorite recaps was the unfolding drama and conclusion to Tahlia and Tucker (METTLE) as these two were my favourite book and couple in the Spartan Series!

Although, if I am being honest - Kade did manage to steal a smaller piece of my heart from Tucker (Country).

Kade had this larger than life stature but was so invested in the feelings growing between him and Angel that it was endearing!

Kade and Angel's story alone was an absolute joy to read such a way that I found myself looking forward to their banter and the easy way in which their relationship was written and evolved through this book.

It wouldn't be a true MC book without an abundance of over-the-top alphas, elements of sexiness (that could be classified illegal) and possessive streaks to rival the greatest!

This one ticks all the MC requirements!

What an amazingly fitting conclusion to an MC Series that was everything an MC Series should be!

4.5 stars!

The last in the series and what a way to go…Kade aka Moose and Angel aka Mouse were fantastic.
Moose doesn’t suffer fools gladly and sees no need to angst and unwanted drama, a man that having lived through more than his fair share of challenges, was happy living the quiet life…or as quiet as it is ever going to be when you are member of the Spartans that is, because nothing stays the same for long with these guys.
Having earnt his nickname Moose is every but as Cocky as you could possibly imagine but with Angel, he may just have found the one woman that he is prepared to change his ways for, she is the antithesis of the other women that hang around the club and whilst that initially piques his interest it is what happens when she eventually succumbs to his inimitable charm that seals the deal because this quiet unassuming girl is perfect for him in every way …and he knows it!
But of course, nothing is ever easy and the Spartans face a battle with crime boss Contreas to save not only their town but also everything they hold dear and when an unfortunate liaison between Angel’s little sister and the one person that not just Moose but all of the other Spartans would rather see dead, Moose has an unenviable decision to make…his brothers or Angel? Or can he achieve the impossible and have it all?
A fantastic conclusion to the series, if you haven’t picked this up before now…don’t wait it is sensational!

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review

I loved Cocky. I must admit I didn't start this series at the beginning. This is the first book I have read, but boy, was it truly awesome. I have read other works by J.C. Valentine and Cocky was everything if not more than I expected.

Kade "Moose" Hunter is a laid back, all around good guy. Unless you piss him off, then like most Alpha's it's on. Moose doesn't do relationships because with them often comes drama. Drama is one thing he will avoid at all costs. He's been front and center to see what it can do to a relationship and it's a no go for him. Moose finally meets the one girl he would like to have more with, Angel Grace or Mouse. Moose totally falls head over butt for this girl. It was fun to watch.

Angel knows what a good man looks like and Kade fits. He's everything she never knew she wanted and so much more. She knows where Moose stands on relationships and that's just fine. She also knows where he stand on drama. And while she's not looking to cause trouble, it seems to find her in the form of her sister, Rena.

I loved every second of this book. There is a hint of violence, but nothing out of the norm for a MC book. I loved this book from start to finish. I can honestly say, I'm going to go back and read this series from the beginning.

~ A Mouse for the Moose ~

—>>> Kade aka “Moose” realizes that the time he has been spending with his woman, Angel aka Mouse, has been meaningful, but he is not quite ready to admit it to himself yet. Angel is enjoying her time with Kade, and looks forward to being with him, but she knows where relationships with MC members end up - nowhere. Which is just fine with her, since she is independent and can look out for herself.

I did not read the previous books to this series, but I had no trouble following the story. Although I did not expect to have the second half of the book devoted to other characters treated like main characters, all the relationships DID tie together via their interactions, which allowed this last book of the series to finish off all the different couples’ stories to their HEA. It has views from both sides of the law and featured the stories of fellow Spartans as well as Kade’s little sister, who met a rival MC boss. It was a sexy read, with a gradually increasingly possessive Kade for his woman, and Kade out of his element in trying to convince Angel that he wants her to be his alone, as well as a bit of good club drama to keep it all rolling! It looks like I must start at the beginning of this series to read all good stories I missed out on before this final book!

Ok I'm going to be completely honest here and say I didn't realize this was going to be the very last book in this series. I also have to say although this is not my first book by Mrs. Valentine, this is the first book I have read in this particular series. So even though this say's its a stand alone and can be read as such, I would probably suggest going back and reading the other books first so you know what's going on.

I have to say that I really enjoyed Kade "Moose" Hunter. You could tell that he was a good guy, loyal to the brotherhood, honest, sweet, kind, caring. He was a man that was rough around the edges, but you could also tell had a softer side to him also.

I thought Angel "Mouse" Grace is just as her description describes her. I thought she sweet, shy, kind. And is falling for Moose. But her wayward sister brings trouble to her doorstep and she is quite sure if she wants to involve Moose or his club.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked how Moose and Mouse worked through their issues. This book I guess you could say was an Epic ending to a series, especially if you've read the other books in this series. This book didn't lack any drama or smexiness, that wasn't over the top.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!

***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***

This brings a sparkling finish to the Spartan Riders trials and tribulations.

Although Moose and Mouse are at the centre of this story, loose ends pertaining to other couples are nicely tied up.

Moose and Mouse are getting deeper into their hot relationship, but feelings are begenning to surface. Neither of them expect this development and have to decide on what they really want out of life.

Rena, Mouse's younger sister who is always in trouble makes a surprise visit, but omits to tell her sister the real reason why she is in town. She wants a clean start and everything comes with a price. Sleeping with the enemy is easy, but falling for him is a different story.

Heath has his own romantic feature. An interaction over toothpaste turns into something more. What he doesn't know is that she is the enemy's daughter, but the heart knows what it wants.

Talia and Taco are still estranged and the truth about her reason for leaving comes to light, but can he forgive and forget?

This story encompasses the lives of the other couples in the Spartan Riders series and ends on a positive and hopeful note. They have achieved what they have been striving for. A worthy finish to this encapsulating mission of the Spartan Riders.

I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

I'm new to J. C. Valentine and her books.
When I saw that I start this series with the LAST book in series: I thought : Oh My... that would be noo good.
Second though... : Oh my this book is write as third person, how can I manage I, I just like to read "I"...

Yes, that's big shame on me... Forgive me because I've sinned.

Moose and Mouse give me great fun, even if this book is writen different. I "spend" with them a couple of hours and didn't even know how fast time goes. Cocky was so good!

As I mentioned on the begining - that is last book in the series but J.C. Valentine describe very good rest characters from previous books, that was also the reason why I enjoyed this story.

Angel Mouse is sweet, beautifull and she care a lot about Kade - I fell in love with her for the first sight. Kade Moose finally meet woman, who is good and who can manage him. Their passion is overwhelnig, many moments between them can make You blush.

Of course... it's MC Club book, so there must be drama involved.

And now I will stop and won't say anything more - if You curious about their story You need to find out by Yourself and read this book.

I just need to fill my library with others Spartan Riders books ;)

Even though this is the ending to the Spartan Riders MC, I can say that it was an amazing ride!!

Kade "Moose" Hunter is about as cocky as any of the guys can get. He is the Spartan's enforcer and mechanic, who knows what he wants most of the time. However, this changes when he sees Angel "Mouse" Grace. Now he is not sure and his feelings grow into something he wasn't expecting.

Angel "Mouse" Grace is just like her name says and is very quite most of the time. She also very independent and doesn't want to become consumed with someone that she loses herself. However, she soon realizes that somethings she has no control over. Will she be able to keep what she believes and have a relationship with Moose?

With this being the final book we were able to see all of the other guys and what has become of their lives as well. Just like J.C. usually does all of these characters had their own voices through out the story which aloud for a deeper story line. With all of these voices there were definitley some twists that I did not see coming but in the end loved.

Sad to see the end but also can't wait to read more of J.C.'s book and to see what she comes up with next.
