Left and Right agree: Martha McSally is a fraudulent candidate

In Blog for Arizona’s long running series “Questions for Martha McSally,” I have frequently pointed out that I consider her candidacy to be a fraud:

Screenshot from 2014-04-19 09:46:19I have said for some time “it is painfully obvious that Martha McSally is a vacuous candidate who does not know enough about any subject to offer a thoughtful and detailed explanation of her positions. So she continues to hide in the bunker and refuses to offer any detailed explanations of her positions.” McSally knows little about the job which she seeks, and is too intellectually incurious and lazy to learn anything about it.

There is no “there” there. McSally is unfit to be a candidate for Congress.

It turns out that I am not the only one who feels this way. In fact, the political Right feels the same way.

Tucson’s “Right talk” radio show host James T. Harris on KQTH (formerly “The Truth”) says “I think a fraud is being perpetrated on the nation . . . [FOX] nation does not get to choose whether or not she represents our district. It’s the people here [in Southern Arizona], we get to choose and I think they need to understand that what she’s shoveling out there in D.C. and what they are trying to foist upon us is fraudulent.”  Via The Arizona Daily independent, A-10 pilot exposes GOP’s McSally, “madness pure madness”.

There is also this via The Arizona Daily independent, McSally history revealed, A-10 pilots speaks out:

Since last August, James T. Harris has had numerous A-10 pilots on his show to discuss their experiences, including McSally. While McSally has been critical of the efforts by CD2 incumbent, Representative Ron Barber, on behalf of the A-10, she has been AWOL. As a result of her current carping, A-10 pilots started sharing their stories with each other of their encounters of the McSally kind.

And in a follow-up report, McSally’s account of fellow pilots’ deaths, relationships questioned:

James T. Harris and [A-10 pilot Colonel (ret.) “Pappy” Russell] discussed the “narrative here that McSally has created in order to promote herself and her career.” Harris said, “The hidden parts of McSally’s life speak to her character.”

There are very many hidden parts to McSally’s life. She has refused to participate in debates and interviews; instead her handlers have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on commercials sharing her narrative and new makeover with the low information voters of CD2.

Left and Right agree: Martha McSally is a fraudulent candidate.

  1. One of the bothersome things for me is that Martha McSally is a closeted lesbian. The lesbian part is not bothersome at all. In fact I so wish that more lesbians would hold public office. The closeted part makes her candidacy a disastrous mess.
