After several live performances with Iain Sinclair in recent years, ranging from Cafe Oto to the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Last London Band present their latest collaboration to coincide with the release of Iain’s latest book “The Last London”.
“Above all Sinclair has always been a collaborator, standing against the co-option of space and narrative by capital and grand political visionaries. Underpinning all his work is a vision of the commons, describing both the places we inhabit and the stories we are allowed to tell, which are out there in the world, waiting to be shared.” – The Guardian
“Words from The Last London and elsewhere are challenged and enriched by Bill's saxophone and the compositions he and his son Adam achieved in 'reinventing musical vocabulary'. Patrick Wright (author of A Journey through Ruins), driving back to Cambridge up the M11, was entranced by Bill's freeform energies. He suggested that the writing of books should be abandoned for new sonic adventures.” – Iain Sinclair
