Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the event?

It’s inside the Warwick Castle Courtyard.

Where can I park?

Parking is limited at the Stratford Road Car Park. Type into Google Maps ‘Warwick Castle Stratford Road Car Park’ and it’ll take you straight there. Warwick Train Station is a 20 minute walk or a 6 minute cab.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No! We have scanners on the door, don’t worry.

I can’t find my ticket, can you help?

Yes, email us on closeupcomedyclub@gmail.com and we’ll find them - or just check your spam! It’ll be there somewhere. The trick is to not panic.

Is the event open-air?

Yes, we are inside the courtyard of the castle totally out in the open.

Are seats provided?

Yes, seats are provided and are not reserved. You can purchase Golden Circle Tickets which gives you guaranteed seats on the front block of seating - closest to the stage.

Is there an age limit?

Due to the likelihood of some bad language and some adult material, every show is 18+. If you look young please remember to bring some ID.

Can I bring my dog?

Sadly not, the castle has a no dog policy. This of course does not apply to any guide dogs.

What if i’m running late?

It depends how late to be honest! The show starts at 8 but we will have staff on the door letting people in until 9PM so you needn’t worry if you are running just a bit late. Anything after 9PM, you might struggle…

Can I see the set times for the night?

Unfortunately these will only be confirmed on the day of the show. But all shows will start at 8PM and will end by 10.30PM.

Can I bring food and drinks in with me?

You can’t, no. We have a huge array of bars and street food stalled doing what they do best to make sure you’re well fed and watered.

What if it rains - can I get a refund?

Unfortunately given that the whole magic of the event is that it’s completely open air and inside one of the most spectacular castles in the country - we have no plans to cover the event with huge tents or marquees. If it does rain we can not give refunds but we will have complimentary ponchos on hand on the door and we encourage you to keep the good old British spirit going and enjoy the show!

What if an act cancels - can I cancel my ticket?

Whilst we are very confident that it won’t happen, there can sometimes be the case where an act cancels last minute due to a huge range of reasons beyond our control - we will do our best to find a like for like replacement if this does happen. We cannot give refunds if an act cancels due to a reason beyond our control.

I can't make the event anymore, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we don't offer refunds to ticket holders unless we cancel the event. Skiddle offers a Refund Protection option at the checkout which allows you to get a refund at any time or date. If you have opted-in to this option then we will of course honour it.
