As citizens of the world, we have been following and affected by global and local events related to the pandemic.
We postponed our planned events in July 2020 and July 2021 (although ran a free online event in July 2021). However, we are now feeling positive about releasing the pause button, and can announce that:
Playful Learning 20 will now take place on 6-8th July 2022 in Leicester
The call for sessions has now closed with a record number of workshops confirmed, and our keynotes and (secret) plans for the theme and events are now being woken up to plan for a full face-to-face conference in July.

Staying Safe
We will be mindful of any guidance and good practice at the time the conference takes place, and have also taken a sensible approach to timetabling (more and larger rooms with good ventilation, more outdoor activities). Our new location also has better links to public transport and a larger car park, to widen personal travel choices.
We will, of course, keep an eye on changes in the situation, and keep this site and all registered attendees informed of any updates.
If you have already registered…
Several lovely people had already registered for PL20 two years ago. If you were one of these, we’ve already been in touch about retaining your registration – and we’re delighted that so many of you have agreed, and are therefore already signed up to attend. We also issued full refunds to the few who asked to cancel their registration.
