To qualify for a poster presentation, the following deadlines and submission criteria must be respected:

Deadlines
  • Abstract Submission Deadline Friday 14 September 2018 (11:59 PM CEST) 
  • Abstract Submission Feedback Friday 5 October 2018
  • Poster upload Wednesday 31 October 2018

Abstract Submission Criteria
  • All abstracts, should be uploaded to the abstract submission system accessible via the "Abstract Submission"-button on the 26th Annual Meeting website.
  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically in .pdf format.
  • All abstracts should be written in English.
  • At the time of submission, the material should not have been published or accepted for publication in the years 2017, 2018 or 2019.
    Encore abstracts are accepted but not favoured. In case of encore abstracts, the conference and conference date should be mentioned in the abstract.
  • The title of the abstract should include all the words crucial for a subject index.
  • The body of the abstract should be limited to maximum 300 words.
  • The subject should treat the results of a specific MS research project.
  • In addition, a title with a maximum of 45 characters should be submitted for publication in the Annual Meeting Mobile Application.
  • If the abstract has more than one author, the main author should be clearly identified (fe: label: 'main author:')
  • The curriculum vitae or at least a short CV of the main author should be included with the submission. 
  • The date of birth of the main author should be mentionned on the CV.

The following information will be asked when uploading an abstract:
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Title
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Country of Residence
  • Institution
  • Date of Birth
  • Title of the abstract
  • Short Title of the abstract (max 45 characters)
  • (tick box - optional) I will be present during the 26th Annual Meeting of the European Charcot Foundation
  • (tick box - optional) I would like my poster presentation to be recorded and broadcasted via the live stream of the Annual Meeting
  • (tick box - obligatory) I agree that my abstract will be published on the Annual Meeting website of the European Charcot Foundation.
  • (tick box - obligatory) I agree that my poster will be uploaded in the Annual Meeting Mobile Application and be displayed in the poster area of the Annual Meeting.
  • (tick box - obligatory) I agree with the specific terms and conditions of the 26th Annual Meeting
  • Upload:
    • (obligatory) Abstract
    • (obligatory) Curriculum Vitae or Short CV
    • (optional) Passport Picture of the main author (max 2 MB)
    • (optional) Poster (if already available, max 9 MB)

Acceptance/rejection poster abstracts
All submitted poster abstracts will be screened and considered for poster presentation by the Scientific Committee of the European Charcot Foundation.
The Scientific Committee will email the submitting author a notification regarding acceptance or rejection by Friday 5 October 2018; consequently, an accurate email address is critical.
If you do not receive a notification corresponding to your abstract submission by Friday 5 October 2018, please contact the Operational and Administrative Secretariat.
