2021 - Mouton appeared in nine games for the Lions drawing the start in three as a cornerback after successfully transitioning to defense after being a wide receiver in 2019 ... Finished the season with 23 tackles (18 solo),  a tackle-for-loss, forced fumble, an interception, and two pass break ups ... a hard hitting corner finished the road win against Lincoln (Oct. 9) with five tackles for a season-high ... In the home win against Central Missouri (Oct. 16) had a tackle-for-loss and a pass breakup .. Against #6 Northwest Missouri had three solo tackles to go with a forced fumble and picked off his first collegiate pass.

2019 - Appeared in ten games for the Lions at wide receiver... Finished the season with 26 receptions for 355 yards and three touchdowns… Against #17 Central Missouri Mouton along with two other Lions achieved over 100 yards receiving in the game with Mouton finishing the game with a season high eight receptions and 100 yards to go along with two touchdowns.

Prior to Southern - Mouton comes to Southern after two years at Golden West College where he had 34 receptions for 453 yards and three scores as a sophomore ... as a freshman, Mouton had 28 receptions for 345 yards and two scores ... Mouton prepped at Dawson High School where he played for head coach Eric Wells ... He set a school record for most receiving touchdowns in a season during his senior season and also lettered in track & field and basketball.

Personal - Brailon is the son of Olan Mouton and Yolanda Broussard and plans to major in business at Southern.
