About this event
We will be discussing how employers can be better informed around LGBTQ+ and how they can address employability issues.
Good employers who recognise the diversity of experiences in the community, as well as the power dynamics that exist within it, have the best chance of developing a truly inclusive culture. We know that LGBTQ+ individuals haven't always reaped the rewards of inclusion efforts, and we must all commit to reflecting on and supporting underrepresented members of our community.
In conjunction with Pride Month, we will hear from speakers:
- Carl Austin-Behan, OBE DL, LGBTQ+ Advisor to the GM Mayor
- Lucy Bradbury, Sustainability Manager at AECOM, Greater Manchester Co-Chair at Building Equality
- Mark Crossfield, Technical Lead at Auto Trader, LGBT+ Network co-lead
