Our Strategy

We provide household goods, childrens' clothing, child and baby equipment and emergency food parcels, free of charge, to those in crisis situations and financial hardship. We aim to provide essentials to help with the immediate need.

We serve meals to various groups that are struggling financially so they can enjoy safe social interaction, with wholesome, healthy food.

In partnership with Aylesbury Vineyard Church, we offer additional groups and events aiming to build and encourage ongoing relationships within the community. These include small groups, women’s groups, family events and a group for pre-school children and their parents.

Childrens’ Clothing

We give away free clothing for children up to the age of 10 (including school uniform). We have an initiative called Growbaby which runs in conjunction with Storehouse and provides clothes and equipment for young families struggling to provide for their children aged 0–4. (Please note, we do not accept any adult clothing.)

Food Bank

Our food bank is supported by the Vineyard Church congregation, other churches around the Vale, local supermarkets, schools donating their Harvest Festival collections and various local organisations that have collection points in their offices.

We currently open to clients two days a week; however, special appointments are made for agencies and in exceptional circumstances. Emergency food parcels can also be provided at other times.

Household Goods

Towels, bedding, lighting fixtures, kitchenware, crockery and cutlery.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE CLOSED ON BANK HOLIDAYS

Storehouse receives lots of calls, so we may not always be able to speak to you straight away. If so, please leave us a voicemail with your name, number and a short message and we will return your call as soon as we can.

In an emergency, please contact the Church Office.

Amongst the goods that Storehouse provide are towels and bedding, lighting fixtures and fittings, kitchenware, crockery and cutlery, electrical goods (all of which are tested in-house) and baby equipment. We hold a range of good quality, second-hand childrens' clothing (from small babies to age 10), including school uniforms.

If you would like to donate non-perishable foods or toiletries on a Sunday morning, please hand-in any items to the Information desk at the main reception when you arrive.

History

Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse has been helping people in need since 1998.

From humble beginnings in a garage in Aston Clinton, we moved to a rented shop in Walton Court in 2002 and then an industrial unit in Osier Way in 2004, as the project grew.

In 2011, we moved into The Vineyard Centre, where over 7,000 square feet — one-third of the building — is dedicated to compassion initiatives.

In 2016, we upgraded the facilities to offer our clients enhanced dignity and comfort, including new café and reception areas and additional square footage for furniture, clothing and food.

Please note that we are not able to see clients on Sunday mornings.
