The Amal Fund

Half of all refugees are children. Half of all school age refugee children have lost their opportunity of a formal education. Today tens of thousands who have fled war and persecution are urgently in need of support.

To help these children, we’ve launched The Amal Fund with Choose Love.  Since Amal has started walking, she has raised £770,000 ($965,000) to provide urgently-needed support for refugee and displaced children all over the world.

Donate today HERE to help us provide education, food, shelter, emergency medical care, legal assistance and much more for children like Little Amal.

Our 2023 report details many of the partners who have been supported by the fund in the last year, including Canyon Nest in Tijuana, Sidewalk School in Texas, Child Houses in North West Syria and several organisations in Gaza.

Since the inception of The Amal Fund we have supported 33,066 people including 16,782 children and 23 organisations in 11 countries.

Choose Love does whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice. They elevate the voices and visibility of refugees and galvanise public support for agile community organisations providing vital support to refugees along migration routes globally.

Since Choose Love was founded, in 2015, they have assisted almost 4 million refugees and displaced people around the world. Supporting refugee children has always been central to their work, with a particular focus on unaccompanied children.

“Amal has changed hearts and minds, and the funds she has raised have had such a tangible impact for so many.” – Josie Naughton, CEO Choose Love
