Our story
‘For me, it was a really emotional occasion – I don’t
think I’d quite grasped how much I’d missed the power, energy and beauty that
an orchestra generates’.
I started Alina Orchestra (which is a registered charity) because I always dreamt of creating an organisation that really gave something back to the local community. I wanted everyone who attended our concerts to feel welcome, to feel included and for the Orchestra to maintain a dialogue between themselves and the audience, giving a little insight into the music as the event progresses. I also knew how important our Outreach programme would be to the local area, using music, and its many related benefits, to promote wellbeing and to support those members of the community who are most disadvantaged. I think we do just that. Our Band in a Van events and Care Home workshops support many groups within Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire and continue to be incredibly popular.

Outreach
Alina Orchestra has been created as an orchestra that gives back to the community in any way it can. As such, we have created and developed a large programme of Outreach for those that need it most. Our core programme includes, Music Workshops in Care Homes, Band in a Van, GCSE and Side-by-Side events for students and much more!
