ANA to Temporarily Change Service on Select International
Routes Due to the Coronavirus as of Sept. 14, 2021


  • ・In order to meet the growing demand for flights between Japan and the U.S. as well as connecting flights between Asia and North America, ANA will resume and/or increase flights on the Narita = San Francisco, Haneda = Seattle, Haneda = New York routes. In addition, ANA will increase the number of flights on the Narita = Ho Chi Minh City and Narita = Jakarta routes in Asia.
  • ・In Europe, ANA will increase the number of flights on the Haneda = London, Haneda = Paris, Haneda = Frankfurt, and Narita = Brussels routes to further accomodate demand for travel between Japan and Europe.
  • ・In December, ANA will operate an interim flight from Frankfurt bound for Osaka/Kansai International Airport.

TOKYO, Sept. 14, 2021 - All Nippon Airways (ANA) is updating its international flight schedule for service from September through January 11, 2022 to select cities due to the ongoing changes to immigration guidelines, recently instituted public health measures and passenger demand trends.

ANA will continue to monitor local restrictions and quarantine guidelines as well as demand trends and travel viability as it decides on the frequency of flights and when to resume certain routes. Furthermore, ANA is committed to maintaining the standards and protocols established by the "ANA Care Promise," our initiative to provide a clean and hygienic environment at airports and aboard aircraft so that all customers can travel safely and comfortably.

Overview of the Schedule (September 2021 to January 2022):
Based on various factors including demand trends, we will cancel 4 flights (1 route) and increase 4 flights (1 route) between September 1 to October 30. In addition, we will adjust a total of 2,895 flights (39 routes) through an increase and cancellation in flights, changes to the flight days, and additional interim flights between October 31 and January 11, 2022.

  • *5 These changes were announced in the FY2021 Business Plan that was released on Aug. 24, 2021.
