We are one of the only remaining centres in the UK that teach IN PERSON City & Guilds Accredited courses in a wide range of textile skills and craft areas. We have a strong emphasis on teaching design. It’s about empowering you to become a maker in your own right, with your own visual language.

Kate Horner has received a Medal for Excellence for her Textiles teaching, from City & Guilds', the only one in the world awarded that year.
We are one of the only centres in the UK offering a wide range of Attending Textile programmes, where you can be in the room with like minded people, watching demonstrations and support from your tutors and discussion with your group.
The Accreditation process ensures our programmes are bench-marked against the City & Guilds quality standard – giving you the confidence and reassurance that, which ever programme you choose, it is the best it can be.
