Our Mission:

The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation is an authentic living history site with the purpose of enhancing understanding of 1760 -90 farm life in Southeastern Pennsylvania by providing high quality, research based experiences to the public.

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission provides general operating support through their Cultural and Museum Grant program to support CPP's educational and volunteer programs. CPP has also been awarded a PHMC Historic Preservation Construction grant for restoration of windows and doors in our farmhouse.

The Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Memorial Fund supports CPP by providing funds to support educational programming costs to welcome Pennsylvania Title 1 schools to the farm.

The Kirk Plumsock Trust at Willistown Friends Meeting is providing funding to support research and new interpretation about slavery in 18th century at Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation and the surrounding area.

Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation has received funding in 2024 through Americana Corner's Preserving America Grant Program. The funding helps support CPP's educational programming.
