11th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis

6th - 9th September 2020, Manchester, UK

UPDATE 22/06/2020
In light of the current situation with Coronavirus, the organising Committee of ICEC2020 has decided to go ahead with a virtual conference. We are very excited about getting together as a community in a different format in September 2020.

On behalf of the organizers, I would like to invite you to the 11th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis in Manchester, UK from 6th to 9th September 2020.

The ICEC, which was first held in Pisa in 1995 has had a major influence on the development of catalytic solutions to address global environment issues such as air and water pollution, green synthesis and more efficient use of energy. It was last held in the UK in Belfast in 2008 and we welcome colleagues from around the world back to the UK to participate in this conference and exchange research to further our knowledge and impact of environmental catalysis. As with previous conferences, it will consist of a number of plenary talks coupled with parallel oral and poster sessions.

Plenary Speakers:

  • Tim Bugg - Bacterial Enzymes for Lignin Degradation
  • Alessandra Quadrelli - Surface Organometallic Chemistry on MOFs, POPs and Inorganic Oxides for CO2 and N2 Reduction: En route to Renewable Energies Storage
  • Enrico Tronconi - The NH3-SCR Redox Cycle over Cu-CHA: Insights from Transient Response Methods
