How Can I Shape My Community?

Tuesday 24 September 1.00 – 5.00 pm, Penryn Campus

How can you help to shape your community? A timely exploration of local participation and democracy, making sense of structures which are already in place. Dr Joanie Willett of the University of Exeter will be leading this workshop investigating what community means and how we can be active members of our own communities, bringing about the change we want to see. We are delighted to be hosting this event within the Environment & Sustainability Institute on campus. We will be joined by Dr Victor Kouloumpis of the Exeter Energy, Environment and Economy research group who will be sharing insights into some of the world-class research taking place here. A delicious complimentary lunch will be provided.

There will be filming at this event. If you would prefer not to be filmed, please let the organisers know.
