Leisure Assistant
Work Location: Exeter Schools

Hours: Various – weekends and evenings (Mon-Fri) Plus overtime to meet the business needs

Fusion School Services Ltd operate the community use for sports clubs and leisure activities, utilising the schools’ facilities that we are able to open up to the surrounding community. Our vision is to support local organisations who provide fitness and wellbeing activities for young children and adults.

Fusion School Services are looking to recruit Leisure Assistants to join our current team working at the weekends and in the evenings, during the week. We can offer a variety of shift patterns to suit, overtime will also be available to meet the business needs. Weekend and evening hours may be combined to create a suitable role for the right candidate.
The following hours are available:
20 hrs – Mon – Fri (evenings)
10 hrs – Mon – Fri (evenings)
4 hrs – Mon – Fri (evenings)
14 hrs – Sat/Sun
6 hrs – Sat/Sun
What will you do?
You will work closely with the site management team to ensure that the booking space is set up and ready for the customers’ booking and is packed away at the end of the activity, in preparation for the school day.
At the end of the booking, you will ensure that the building is secured and alarmed, in line with our Lettings Policy.
What will you need?
An ability to work independently and having excellent communication skills is essential, so you can act as the first point of contact when visitors arrive for their bookings.

Would you like to work for a caring, professional cleaning service, which offers full training, a competitive hourly rate and an Employee Assistance Programme to support you in your personal life and wellbeing? You will be paid all year round while enjoying the benefits of not having to work in the school holidays.
We can offer a variety of shifts (during and after the school day) in senior schools across the city, overtime will also be available to meet the business needs. All positions are Monday – Friday, Term Time only (plus deep clean weeks).
The following positions are available:
What will you do?
- Work to a specific cleaning schedule in an area that is assigned
- Work in a methodical and safe manner
- Requirement to use your own initiative when working independently
- Actively participate when required to work as part of a team
- Operate industrial cleaning machinery
What will you need?
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A desire to play a role in enhancing our students’ school experience
- Self-Motivated

- Pay every month even during school holidays.
