DJOKIC-LEBLANC DUO

Marc Djokic, violin and Julien Leblanc, piano

Musical duo Marc Djokic & Julien Leblanc have collaborated together for 10 years and have displayed their powerful playing and virtuosity from coast to coast tours across Canada. With their rich energy, style and enthusiasm towards engaging with the audience, they brought a renewed appreciation of violin and piano music to a diverse public.

Both from the maritimes, the Djokic-LeBlanc Duo have also toured through Jeunesses Musicales, Debut Atlantic, and BC Touring, and have been guest artists at numerous music festivals including Scotiafest, Barachois Summer Music, Music and Beyond, and Syrinx Concert Series. This duo has given acclaimed performances of the Corigliano Sonata, one of their signature pieces, and have a range of programs from classical to contemporary including works from several Canadian composers.

From 2015 to 2016 the classical music channel noncerto filmed and produced five music videos for the Djokic-Leblanc Duo in various cultural locations in Quebec and New Brunswick. These videos featured the duo performing in unique venues such as a pub in downtown Montreal, an art gallery in the Old Port of Montreal, the Picaroon’s brewery in Fredericton, and local music stores in New Brunswick.

In their element in all towns and halls, the Djokic-Leblanc duo has been an enduring Canadian group that has brought audiences closer to classical and contemporary music over the years.

Ayant voyagé d’un océan à l’autre lors de plusieurs tournées, on dénote chez le duo Djokic-LeBlanc un dynamisme et une synergie unique qui ne cesse de charmer leur public.
