Big Help for small history museums, organizations, and historical societies.

The fixes you need at a scale that works for your organization.

Small organizations are the beating heart of the museum and cultural heritage industries. They are found in small towns and large cities all across the country and around the world. They exist in the shape of historic houses, small exhibition galleries, local landmarks, independently run historical societies, and much more.

As museum professionals with years of experience in working for small organizations, we know that these spaces are often filled with people who are brilliantly passionate about their work, committed to their communities and craft, and dedicated to using history as an empowering tool for good.

We are also keenly aware that what we are able to do in our museums is often vastly different from what we dream of doing because of limitations in organizational capacity— especially staff and funding.

We are here to help!
