Professor Emily Simonoff at King's College London - Facilities and Strengths

Professor Emily Simonoff is the Head the Department of Childhood and Adolescent Psychiatry at King’s College London, as well as the Department and Academic Lead for the CAMHS Clinical Academic Group in King’s Health Partners. Her research interests include autism, ADHD, antisocial behaviour, intellectual disability, genetics and epidemiology.

In this video, Professor Simonoff talks about the lectures that students on Childhood and Adolescent Psychiatry courses at King’s College London will be able to attend. This includes lectures on basic science, clinical science, genetics and imaging. 

She also discusses the resources and facilities available to the students, like clinical material from patients and clinical teaching. This leads into looking at the strengths of the department, one being the fact that the majority of senior staff are involved in the clinical assessment and treatment of disorders.
