Barry Farm | Cork

North Cork Creameries

Joe Barry, a fourth-generation farmer from Cecilstown, Mallow, Cork, took over the farm from his father Jimmy about 12 years ago. Joining Joe on the Barry farm are his wife, Ann, and two daughters, Emily and Hazel. Joe said his two daughters are keen to learn as much as possible and are always interested in getting stuck in to help out. Joe has been farming for as long as he can remember, and as a child remembers looking forward to feeding the newly born calves. Outside of farming, Joe is heavily involved in the local GAA club and community development association.
