Staff Awards ceremony winners 2023
Care and Compassion
The winner of the Award for Care and Compassion was South Community Nursing Teams – End of Life Care.
The award was presented by sponsor Katrina Murray, Branch Secretary, Unison Lanarkshire Branch.
Innovation and Improvement
The winner of the Award for Innovation and Improvement was the Pre-Operative Assessment Team (Pan Lanarkshire). The award was presented by Sylvia Stewart, Branch Chair, Unite The Union, Lanarkshire Health Branch.
The William Cullen Award
The winners of the William Cullen Award were Dr Gillian Mulholland, Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist and Dr Amanda Armstrong, Consultant in Acute Medicine. The award was presented by Dr Alison Falconer, Consultant Physician, NHS Lanarkshire and Council Member of The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
Collaboration
The winner of the Award for Collaboration was Dr. Doug Lyall and the Hospital Eye Team. The award was presented by award sponsor Anne Quinn, Director, NHS Staff Benefits/PSSB Ltd.
Volunteering
Lorna Colquhoun and Robert Bogan have won the Award for Volunteering. The award was presented by Liz Airns, GMB Branch Secretary Lanarkshire.
Chief Executive Award
The winner of the Chief Executive Award is David Murray and the orthopaedic team. They were presented their award by Chief Executive Jann Gardner
Chair Award
The winner of the Chair Award is Addictions psychology service. They were presented their award by Chair Martin Hill.
