Altenew Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

by Zinia Redo

Hello everyone! Today I’m participating in a very special blog hop! I designed the Live Your Dream Collection that Altenew is releasing today, and I’m so thrilled to share it with you.

I’m very excited with all the amazing projects shared by the other members of the blog hop, so make sure to check every single one of them.

Before I get to the project, let me show you a closer look into the collection first.

Altenew Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway @ziniaredo #scrapbook #scrapbooking #papercrafting #ziniaredo
Live Your Dream Scrapbook Collection is a bright and elegant line that you can use to document any occasion. From the little daily moments that you want to remember forever to bigger milestones like parties and birthdays.
All of the products in this collection are very versatile and you can use them for many different projects such as 12″ x 12″ layouts, pocket scrapbooking, cards, home decor, and much more.

I’m just madly in love with every single piece in this line. Now let’s get into my layout for today. I decided to use all my favourite floral elements from this collection to create an eye-catching centrepiece.

I went ahead and fussy-cut all sorts of floral bits from various papers and pulled out more images from chipboard and clear stickers as well as the ephemera pack.

It’s so fun and easy to put together a page like this, it takes no time or effort at all. I finished my layout by adding a picture and a title and then it was to go in my album.

I really hope you enjoyed this page and you are truly excited for my latest collection, I know I am!

If you are thinking of grabbing a box or a few products from this line, I’d absolutely love to see what you create with it, so make sure you tag me on your favourite social media channels.

Congratulations on designing this collection, Zinia! I think my favorite part of this collection is the addition of the navy blue against all the other bright colors. I wouldn’t have come up with that on my own, but just that one darker color balances everything out in such a beautiful way. Already I’m inspired by the colors, and then the patterns on top of it? I can feel the creative juices flowing!

I would like to see a space themed or ‘out of this world’ collection from altenew. I do like how you laid out cut outs on a plain white background – a very versatile technique.

Love this collection. So bold in color, and you are obviously the queen of fussy cutting! Thanks for showing us the different possibilities of this kit. Your page is just lovely.
I would like a collection that is done in black and white. I think B&W is very versatile, and it would be fun to creat layouts with it as it is, or adding pops of color with the Altenew markers or by layering some of the gorgeous flower stamps!
Thanks for your inspiration!

I love this layout. You have a lovely combination of colours in the florals, but I really like how there are some more of those deeper indigo blues – it makes a nice contrast to the pinks – but also sets off your picture so nicely. As for a future release, I would love to see something either more vintage postal, or more masculine in nature. Altenew does such lovely florals – I would love to see something more masculine and graphic to set them off. We see in so many blog posts how wonderful the florals look against bold graphic backgrounds – very yin/yang. I would like to see a scrapbook kit like that – it would be a potentially nice complement to what they have out already.

Beautiful flowers in design & colours. Your layout is modern, fun & funky, great photo. I would like to see a retro school set, old excersice pages, board rubber, marker pens etc, chalks, those retro patterns from late 70’s & early to mid 80’s. Or a retro club 18/30 holiday look from 80’s. Thank you for sharing.

Am in love with this new collection for portrait shots! Love scrapbook collections with themes like outdoors with greens; river themes as well as a different look for beach themes; North East/lighthouse style as well; Vintage doors, and wood tones with golds/creams; Peacock Blue with gold fluorishes; and that’s just to name a few. I love to scrapbook and go on 3 retreats each year just to get more done. Cards are so fun and fast but layouts are my real love. Thanks for having such fun collection!
