Ninth International Conference of the JIAR
Doctoral/New Faculty Consortium

This consortium and conference will be conducted virtually Wednesday, June 22, Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24, 2022, and will include breakout sessions, plenary sessions, concurrent papers sessions, panel discussions, keynote speaker presentation and networking opportunities. The virtual format is intended to facilitate conversations with international scholars and those who may continue to be impacted by COVID restrictions.

MEETING FOCUS: The goal of the consortium conference is to expand the diversity and scope of international accounting research, through increased understanding and awareness of the challenges and opportunities of international accounting. Original and rigorous research will provide academics, practitioners, and regulators with deeper insights into international accounting issues.

  1. Update your knowledge of international financial reporting and audit standards and governance practices;
  2. Understand accounting developments in different countries; and
  3. Learn from current research outcomes in international accounting, auditing, taxation research.

The CPE Fields of Study curriculum is divided into twenty subject matter areas. These fields represent the primary knowledge and skill areas needed by accounting licensees to perform professional services in all fields of employment. Sessions that offer CPE credit have the Field of Study and Credit Hours (CH) in red. Each Credit Hour is based on 50 minutes. The Program Level for each of these sessions is Basic, unless otherwise stated. Delivery Method: Group Internet Based.

American Accounting Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
