Welcome to my personal webpage. My name is Anna Raute.
I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Economics at Queen Mary University London. Prior to joining Queen Mary, I was an Assistant Professor at University of Mannheim. I obtained my PhD from University College London.
I am a Research Affiliate with CEPR (Labour & Public Economics) and CESifo, Research Fellow at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM) at UCL, a Research Associate at ZEW. I am an elected member of the EEA Council and a member of the EALE Executive Committee.
My fields of interest are in Applied Microeconomics, mainly Labour Economics, Family Economics and Public Economics.
***Starting January 2024, I will be on sabbatical leave as Visiting Senior Fellow at STICERD at London School of Economics.***
