EVH Training Session 2: Getting started with EVH and Techniques for Difficult Harvests

About this event

In this session an experienced harvester will teach you the basic techniques for dissection & harvesting and will provide you with hints and tips on how to deal with difficult harvests, such as bigger legs, fragile veins, lower leg harvesting, bleeding or fat in the tunnel.

OUR EXPERTS

  • Steven J Power lives in Poulton Le Fylde, United Kingdom. Steven started to work in healthcare in 2002 whilst studying Operating Department Practice at the University of Central Lancashire. Further, he studied Surgical Care Practice at Teeside University and qualified in 2011. Steven now is a Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, UK, specialising in minimally invasive Cardiac Surgery.


  • Ferdinand Kunick lives in Hamburg, Germany and graduated from the Steinbeis University in Berlin. He is a Physician Assistant B.Sc. and has worked in the clinical environment for nearly 10 years. Ferdinand has 3 years of experience with EVH and is working as Surgical Support Specialist for Terumo, where he is responsible for the EMEA region.
