Join us in Cape Town for The Burdett Trust for Nursing RISE Symposium 2022: Connecting Excellence in Nursing Research at the University of Cape Town from 23-25 November 2022.

The Burdett Trust for Nursing and The Global Health network are delighted to host this face-to-face symposium this coming November. This symposium will showcase and celebrate nursing and midwifery research leadership from around the world. The Burdett Trust for Nursing RISE Symposium 2022: Connecting Excellence in Nursing Research, on the 23 November 2022, is a precursor event to The Global Health Network Conference 2022: Enabling Health Research in Every Healthcare Setting following on 24-25 November 2022.

PURPOSE OF THE EVENT

The Burdett Trust for Nursing RISE symposium offers a unique opportunity for nurses and midwives to focus on Research for Impact, Success and Evidence-led health outcomes. The symposium will enable and fulfil your potential to RISE.

The embedded theme of The Global health Network 2022 conference is exploring equity in where research happens, who leads and who benefits. The aim is to learn from each other and share excellence in approaches, processes and methods. This also includes ensuring there is equitable access, representation and participation at this conference.

This symposium and conference are being organised on a not for profit basis. Every delegate who can pay to attend will be supporting a delegate who would otherwise not be able to attend through the Scholarship Award for nurses and midwives. The Burdett Trust for Nursing is funding 25 Scholarship Awards for nurses and midwives to attend the RISE Symposium 2022 & The Global Health Network Conference 2022. The deadline for applications is midnight (BST) 10 September 2022.  Due to high interest in these events you are advised to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
