In this webinar, we will explore how storytelling brings life to inclusion work, and discuss some of the ethical issues that may arise. This webinar is suitable for those who want to take action to make their workplaces more diverse, inclusive, and accessible, but don’t know where to start, or have hit a brick wall. It is also suitable for publishers who want to increase the diversity of the authors and editorial teams that they represent.

Danielle is a diversity and inclusion practitioner, with nearly ten years’ experience in the publishing industry. She believes that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to make meaningful change in organisations, bringing life to her work in recruitment, equality monitoring, employee training, and the retention and development of people with diverse backgrounds and abilities.

- Reflect on whether your experience of storytelling promotes inclusion.
- Explore how storytelling can impact and revitalise an organisational diversity and inclusion program.
- Discuss some of the ethical issues of storytelling in scholarly communication.
