From International Bestselling author, Dr. Rebecca Sharp...

Small-town girl. America’s Sweetheart.
The biggest popstar in the world.
It began with one guy and then the next.
Until my reputation preceded me.
Yes, I dated them - all of them.
Yes, I also broke up with them.. All of them.
Was it too much? The world said yes. Too many, too quickly.
And my star began to flicker.
The world knew nothing about my life and yet, their judgement weighed on me like stone.
My reputation was falling faster than a shooting star and the only way to save it was with the boy who never wanted me.
Zach Parker was a singer, songwriter, and sexy as sin.
To him, I was just the neighbor’s little sister.
A pest that had grown into a famous annoyance.
Zach Parker wanted nothing to do with me.
But he could be tempted - with a stepping stone to fame, that is.
The plan was simple: Childhood Sweethearts Fall in Love on US Tour.
The plan was to let them see what they wanted to see: our ‘romance’ blossom right in front of their eyes.
A romance that Zach had made painfully clear to me years ago would never exist.
I’m told that it was the only thing that could repair my image.
So, every night I’ll stand on that stage and give Zach my heart piece by piece, note by note.
We’ll give them a show they’ll never forget - and a love story that I may not survive.
Because who cares that in order to put my reputation back together, I’ll have to tear my heart apart?

Confession: I usually avoid rock star romances like the plague. There I said it. I dated a guy all through college who was going to school for music because he thought he was going to be the next big jazz musician. 4 years of that and I'm ALL rock star'd out. However, that being said, I was hesitant to start this book. I read her novella in the Koche Chronicles and immediately knew I wanted to read everything and anything with her name on it. So here we are. And I'm never judging a book by it's musical roots again.

Story Line: Blake became a rock star at just 18 years old. She left behind her brother, Ash and his best friend Zach (aka the love of her life who refused to be the love of her life). She's loved Zach for as long as she can remember. But Zach built up a wall between them, shutting her down at every given opportunity. Except for the tree house. That tree house makes me want to build one in my backyard like right now. I love what it represented to them and I love its reappearance in the "Bonus Track"

Anyways, Zach is in a band. Long story short they end up being the opening act for Blake's tour. You see, when you're a rockstar, reputation is everything. So, according to Blake's team, she needs to stop being a hussy, and start showing her fans that she is able to settle down. See where I'm going with this? But it's all an act, of course. Just a brave face they put on so that society thinks she isn't the Elsa the ice queen. I was so disheartened for Blake throughout the majority of this book. First of all, having to fake a relationship sucks - regardless of who it's with. But then to have to fake it with someone who has so ademently shot you down most of you life growing up? Torture. Alright, not all torture. But still. My heart hurt for her. It hurt for him. And then it was just plain angry. So many emotions, yet I never wanted this book to end.

Interaction: Can I just say that I adored the reliving the past moments? When Ash or Zach tells a story about them as kids growing up with Blake? Yeah, those moments. I ate them up like a kid in a candy store. The communication between Blake and Zach is so comfortable, easy and tense all at the same time. It was the perfect blend of angst, frustration and complete lust. It makes me all hot and bothered just thinking about it. Speaking of...

Laundry: First of all, I need a tree house. Second of all, I need hotel rooms at my disposal. And third of all, I will make an exception to my "I strongly dislike musicians" rule. Zach is so hot. Not like Zach Morris on Saved By The Bell. No, No, No. Like, a cross between Baywatch and The Greatest Showman Zac Efron. Except taller. Yum. And Blake, that lucky witch, she has had these man candy in her life for-ev-er. So of course, years and year and years of build up is going to be explosive. Like, the nice suburbs fireworks display on the 4th of July. Yeah, you know what I mean. The high budget fireworks. So. Freaking. Hot.

Depth: Let me just say, Ash's book, whenever it may come out, may have me reading with a grudge. Sorry, not sorry. I love his name, I love his over protectiveness of his sister. I love the shadowed look her gave her bestie that eludes there's something more there. But I don't love his crazy. Not one single bit. That, mixed with Blake's inner turmoil and of course Zach's fight to hold on to her, there's a lot more going on here than just two people who are attached by a magnet, yet the world wants to see them on opposite ends of the world. I loved the complexity of their love. I loved the easiness of it too. The tug and pull was perfect. Zach and Blake's chemistry was off the charts in every single element of their lives. If I could vote for them as my favorite celebrity couple, I totally would. This book was written so freaking well, I could probably rave about it until the cows come home. Seriously. SO MUCH LOVE.

Blake has always followed her heart. She feels strongly and passionately and doesn't allow doubt or insecurity to stop her. So when, at 15 years old, she decided that Zach was meant to be hers, she did everything she could to make it happen. She learned guitar for him. She followed him around like a lost puppy. She sabotaged his relationships and even tried to trick him into affection. And no matter how many times he made it clear that they were NEVER going to happen... she didn't give up. She believed she knew his heart better than he did and worked even harder to make him see it. Fast forward ten years... and she was RIGHT!!

I've never read anything from this author before, but with this book, she sold me completely with her lyrical words. Despite how pathetic Blake seemed in so many ways, I couldn't help but root for her. I didn't get why she was such a glutton for punishment, but love makes us do crazy things. My only real hangup was the idea that her brother was so incredibly protective. It was almost obsessive. Why did he have so much pull? I understand friendship and loyalty and the idea of 'bro code', but everything he did was taking it too far. The author made him appear murderous. Considering their longtime friendship, I'd think he'd know Zach well enough to think he might be good enough for his sister. It was hard to stomach and I didn't like how everyone pussyfooted around him like he was the angry green giant. It was ridiculous.

However, the beauty of the relationship that blossomed and flourished between Zach and Blake kept me reading. I loved the push and pull between these two. I loved what they became when they finally decided to take the risk. And I loved how willing they were to prove their love, despite their audience or the potential for embarrassment. I'm thinking there's going to be a story for big brother Ash and I'm hoping the author works miracles to make me love him.

You don't have to be a hard core T Swift fan to appreciate this story. Reputation is merely a glimpse into what could be...

Loving the misunderstood pop star, Blake Tyler, is easy for most. She's America's pop princess. The unlucky in love and her breakups disastrously misconstrued in the tabloids. (Sound familiar?)

Reputation actually brings together lyrics and storylines from a certain pop star's lineup. Weaving the songs lyrics into dialogue and creating parts of the whole story. I have to say I was highly intrigued with how the author would pull it off and I am far from disappointed.

This book left me a wreck. A wretched, sobbing, heartbroken mess. Angst lovers and hopeful, starry eyed romantics will embrace Reputation so hard. It might even play in your...Wildest Dreams.

In a fangirling moment, I've always thought that Ms. Swift's songs aptly painted a picture in the listener's minds. It seems Rebecca Sharp agrees but also felt it was about time that someone embraced the possibilities for the young starlet.

Thank you to both of them for being a bright light in my day.

This is my first book by this author and wont be my last. I have been following her for a long time and have two other books of hers on my kindle but had not got around to reading them yet.

I am a sucker for Rockstar books, they are my first choice all the time and I have been dying to read this one and it didn't disappoint. I loved the book from start to finish and never wanted to put it down (but I had to as I have 2 kids under 5 and we moved house).

Best friends little sister? Forbidden romance? Second chance romance? Rockstar romance? Fake relationship turned into real love? Whats not to love about this book.

This is a book about a lifelong love. A girl who started crushing on her brothers best friend and developed those feelings into love. No matter that he pushed her away, cruelly each time. She nurtured those feelings into adulthood and poured them into singing and songwriting. Global fame followed on the back of this heartbreak.

Blake is from a small southern town and has become the biggest and brightest pop star in the world. But from one failed relationship to the next the headlines and dropping ticket sales shows her reputation is on the line. When a plan is in place to help Blake with recovering her reputation, can she survive it? Zach, whom she has crushed on since a little girl, the same man that has repeatedly ripped her heart out, is her only hope to put her reputation back together again but will he destroy her at the same time?

Zach Parker! His love for Blake was so beautiful. Granted in the beginning I didn’t care for him or for his treatment of our heroine until we got to his POV.

This is so well written that the story just moves at a pace that has the story flowing effortlessly. I was rooting for Blake and Zach the whole time.

I highly recommend this book! I loved it. An absolute must read for 2018.

Completely and utterly BLOWN AWAY! This is my first novel by Rebecca Sharp and I am speechless! The story that she created is one of pain but also one of absolute beauty!

Love is never easy and it shapes us in ways we don’t even know or see and that is 100% truth when it comes to Blake and Zach! This story is so gut wrenchingly beautiful that it will leave a permanent scar on your soul!

I hate writing bad reviews. I know everyone says that but I really do.

This actually started off really good. I loved the premise of the book. America's sweetheart and super rockstar Blake has developed a bit of a reputation for going through too many boyfriends and in an attempt to get her image back on track, her manager has a brilliant idea. The plan is to make it appear she has fallen in love and is able to have a stable relationship and the lucky guy chosen is Zach, her brother's best friend who Blake has been in love with forever despite Zach turning her down over and over.

What didn't work for me

Desperate Heroine: I hated that Blake threw herself at Zach so many times. He turned her down over and over and yes we learn later that he really loves her but she didn't know that! Sorry, just one of my pet peeves.

Way too long: There were so many unnecessary parts to this book. We get a lot of transitions from past to present and I think the point of showing the past was to show the embarrassing moments Blake had when she took the risk to show Zach how she felt about him and yes he turned her down every time. It just felt liked it dragged a bit in the middle because it felt repetitive.

Forbidden Romance???!!: Is a brother's best friend considered so forbidden? Certainly not for me. I mean I get it, no brother wants his friend to date his sister but Blake's brother took it to the EXTREME! I mean talk about overdramatic! I won't spoil it for you but his actions to prevent them from being a couple was insanely crazy. It just wasn't realistic for me. And poor Zach, his inner turmoil over this problem was driving him crazy and driving me crazy too! I just wanted to say "this is not a BIG DEAL!". How is this causing so much conflict?!

Sigh! I'm sorry I didn't like this because I love the main idea of this story and I gave it 2 stars because I did enjoy the first part but it went downhill for me and by the last 10% I was just skimming the pages.

In my opinion, Rebecca Sharp is one of the new stars in the indie writing world. Her first two books instantly shot up to my favorite reads this year and knowing the story behind this book I was eagerly waiting to start “Reputation”.
This book was different than the Winter Games books, a lot less dark and moody, but great nonetheless. The characters were well developed and easy to fall in love with. Blake Tyler was one of the most real and lovable characters I have read in a very long time. The other characters were outshone by her light. She’s the star, the north star of this book. Her feelings broke my heart more than once and I wished I had her strength and her believe in love.
I really liked how the story was interwoven with the songs and the music and I admire the author’s talent to do both – write songs AND books – really good. The plot was very well developed and the glimpses we got from the past were perfectly timed and gave insight in the development of Blakes’s and Zach’s relationship.
The end was a bit short and I could have done with a bit more angst and fear how it will turn out, but that’s just me and I love a long torturous way to the end.
This book includes an extended epilogue to the author’s first book “Up in the Air” and that was just the cherry on top of a good book. I loved reconnecting with Channing and Wyatt and cried a lot of happy tears about them.
Well done, Rebecca Sharp. Well done and I cannot wait to see what you have up your sleeve next <3

"She thought I was ripping through her heart when the truth was that I was carving out my own."

This book left me breathless, crashed my heart more than once and put it slowly back together piece by piece. Reputation is a love fairytale with the potential to rock your world.

"I knew I loved Zach from the moment I realized that it was only he who seemed to have the missing pieces to my heart."

Blake and Zach are two characters that easily pull you into their world. Into their love, their denial, their attraction, their chemistry. Reading their story feels like listening to Blake's album, to the songs she wrote about her love for Zach and her broken heart.

"Our mouths moved together like a duet that only we knew how to sing. High and low. Fast, then slow. The rest of the world drained into black and white, but this... us... we were singing in color."

Rebecca did a wonderful job in telling Blake's and Zach's story. The nice and well placed flashbacks makes it easier to connect to the characters and their feelings for each other. The way the story is told turns this book into a real pageturner. Leaving you thinking "Only one more chapter."

"Because without you, Blakebaby, I'm a melody living in a world that can't hear a sound."

Reputation is about a love that's written in the stars, a story of two lovers finding their forever on earth.

"Because if there is one thing in this world that everyone understands, it's that love isn't perfect, but it's worth it."

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I get that the author is a Taylor Swift fan. I’m a fan too. I get that Taylor is her inspiration. Come on, the cover art? The title? You can’t miss it. It’s even on the dedication of the book.

It would’ve been okay for me if Taylor was just the author’s muse. BUT when some lines/scenes are too close to Taylor’s actual lyrics and life, then that’s just not cool anymore. Not for me anyway.

4.5 ⭐️ Blake + Zach = 💜
Who doesn’t love a rockstar romance? Especially one with both heroes being rockstars?

Best friends little sister? Check! Forbidden romance? Check! Second chance romance? Check! Rockstar romance? Check! Fake relationship turned into real love? Checkmate! This hopeless romantic was very pleased. Can I say swoon? Because Zach Parker is just that! Swoonlicious, yeah it’s not a word, are you the grammar police? Didn’t think so. Anywho, Zach-melt my panties off- Parker! He was so poetic. His love for Blake was so beautiful. Granted in the beginning I didn’t care for him or for his treatment of our heroine here. Once we got to his POV I was singing a different tune. See what I did there 😉

Their love was pretty epic, and it shines bright like the stars!! Their chemistry was off the charts good. That man can sweet talk me any day and night! Blake had no chance when it came to him. They matched each other perfectly! Woooohh. This one took me a while to read. Not because I didn’t like it, just emotional side reading took my attention. But Reputation sucked me back in! Zach and Blake took me out of my emotional funk. Their love was music to my soul.

I will say this, I’m usually one to fall for side characters, I don’t know why, it just happens. In the beginning I was falling for Ash, Blake’s older brother. I saw him being protective of his sister and that was swoon material right there. As the story progresses his protectiveness borderlines obsession. And not the good kind. It was over the top. The fact that neither of our heroes didn’t stand up to him only spurred him on. His selfish actions caused a rift in their romance. I know, I know, there has to be some dilemma and obstacle to overcome. Ash was that. It wasn’t even Blake’s “reputation” that came into play, which was the bases of this fake romance turned real story. To me, his character crossed a line. Then was forgiven like he just didn’t break his sisters heart in front of the world because he couldn’t deal. His maturity really shined through. Zach’s only flaw was keeping Ash as a friend.

All in all I’m a happy reader. I got my HEA which is big for me because, like I said, hopeless romantic. I added on another hot book boyfriend to my ever growing book boyfriend dungeon. Lol. Which by the way, Zach will give all my trophies a run for their money in the steamy department. That man knew how to rev my engine! So yes that alone gets my recommendation!

Hours. I spend hours looking for books that make me feel like this.

Dr. Rebecca Sharp, you now have a new number one fan!

Holding onto my kindle for dear life, heart racing, wanting to read as fast as I can, yet wanting to savor every moment.

I loved every second of reputation—the characters, the heartbreak, the lyrics and how I felt as if I was in the arena right with Blake and Zach. I loved how music played such an important part of their story and I loved their love.

It was an incredible journey and I’m so thrilled to discovered a new-to-me author who blew me away with such a fantastic story.

This best-friend’s sister, rock star romance was perfection and deserves a standing ovation. Loved it!!!

Just from the author's blurb- Because who cares that in order to put my reputation back together, I'll have to rear my heart apart? -you just know that this story is going to turn you inside out. Dr. Rebecca Sharp has done it again in her latest novel, Reputation, with a story of a childhood crush, pop singer, family drama and bad relationships.

This is one of those stories that you will be up all night reading. From the start to the end you are hooked. So well written that the story just moves at a pace that has the story flowing effortlessly.

Blake is from a small southern town and has become the biggest and brightest pop star in the world. But from one failed relationship to the next the headlines and dropping ticket sales shows her reputation is on the line. Even though they didn't know the stories behind the scenes, the news created their own stories. When a plan is in place to help Blake with recovering her reputation, can she survive it? Zach, whom she has crushed on since a little girl, the same man that has repeatedly ripped her heart out, is her only hope to put her reputation back together again but will he destroy her at the same time?

I don't think I have hated a character so much in the beginning of the story. Dr. Sharp has a way with words to start you off that you want to reach in the book and slap him!! My heart broke for them throughout the story to being put back together. Well done!!

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review:

Wow! Rebecca Sharp does it again! Me to all the headlines regarding Blake Tyler: "Leave Blake alone!"

I think Taylor Swift would be so honored to have such a love story inspired by her. I was rooting for Blake and Zach the whole time and the story and ending are incredibly satisfying.

I highly recommend this book! I love, love, LOVED it!!!!!

"All of this silence and patience, pining in anticipation
My hands are shaking from holding back from you"
~Dress💃

As a huge and proud Swiftie (the kind of swiftie that listens to her songs on repeat everyday and gobbles up anything about her), I don't know how I didn't see this before. I'm going to go and get an Optician's appointment and get my glasses upgraded, how the eff did I miss this I can't understand?!😒

About the book, I don't really know what to say as whatever I'll say wont be enough to capture my love for it. Knowing that T.S is now immensely happy with Joe made reading this so much more enjoyable. I utterly loved the references sprinkled in the book by the author. For example:

'Don’t blame me,' my heart whispered back, 'love made me crazy.'

'yesterday had been a fairytale'

'the memories that were still all over me like a wine-stained dress that I couldn’t wear anymore.'
And so many more.

However the only thing I despised was the Abhorrent cock-blocking Ash, Blake's brother like dude had no chill. The first half of the book I literally spent thinking he was in love with Zach or something with how overly protective he was. Blake was a woman of 25, she could date whoever she effing wanted and I couldn't understand why Zach listened to Ash so much, like their bond wasn't as deep or anything they were just normal friends. Disregarding this, I adored it and now it has triggered my obsession of the rockstar romance trope. Bye am gonna find some delicious rockstars to drool over now😉

Me at the end emotionally wiping a tear: "Is this the end of all the endings?”
‘King Of My Heart’

P.s, I wonder if Taylor read this book how would she react..😏🤭

Reputation by Dr. Rebecca Sharp
LABookLove Rating | 🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝

Someone PLEASE make this book into a movie so I can watch it over and over again!

Blake Taylor is a pop singing super star from Franklin, TN. When her string of failed relationships begins to tear down her good girl image she is forced to take desperate measures in order to maintain her favorable reputation. That desperate measure comes in the form of one ex Alabama football player turned singer Zach Parker. Forced into faking a stable relationship with her childhood crush, Blake struggles not to fall into unrequited love with her now opening act... again. Did I mention he’s Blake’s brother’s best friend, the boy next door, and the one guy who has repeatedly rejected her?

Blake wears her heart on her sleeve and gives her all in love. She puts herself out there because to her the chance of true love is worth the risk. Zach is determined not to ruin the relationship with his best friend by giving into the one person he’s always denied himself but wanted. He’s convinced no one will ever be good enough for his Baby Blake. Together this duet singing, fake couple, is HOT. The angst is heavy and I went through quite a few tissues but the chemistry between Blake and Zach is out of this world.

Reputation is the first book I’ve read from Rebecca Sharp and I absolutely loved it! I can’t wait for the next book featuring Blakes brother and her best friend Taylor.

Great writing, but...

I could have loved this book, instead I’m frustrated. Nowhere in the description did it state that this isn’t really an original story. It’s Taylor Swift fan fiction, I personally am not a fan of fan fiction. Everything down to using her song lyrics. The title of the book hinted at it, but I thought it was a reference to the similarities, not a parallel of her life. The author did a disservice to herself, it made it very difficult for me to focus on and enjoy the story. I’m sure I’m not the only person to be turned off by it, just the only one who bothered to post a review. The weird thing is that it wasn’t necessary, the author is a good writer. Without all the Taylor Swift references, it would have been great. I am a huge TS fan, I just prefer original stories to Fan-fiction.

I've read a lot of books that are ser in the music industry so it's always good go find with a twist and more accurately reflecting the role women now have.

Young love that first crush is never easy to get over but when he's in your life constantly there's no hiding place. Blake has crushed on Zach for years in her youthful naivety she's made her feelings known, she's made a play for him and been humiliated every time.

Years pass and Blake is the biggest female pop star on the planet but with fame comes the downside. The author gives us a glimpse into the dark side of fame, the crazy fans the press who want to put her down, the hangers on who just use her for fame it's all laid bare for our enjoyment. When one too many bad press stories threaten her success a plan is hatched to show her falling in love in front of the world. The part that nearly sends her running, her life long crush will be her new man.

I loved this story Blake is an amazing female lead, she may her knocked down by she gets right back up to fight. Zach didn't make me all happy at the start but as the story progressed i fell in love with this loyal amazing but stupid guy.

Read this book and her a ringside seat to a love story years in the making. A well thought out engaging story.

Full disclosure I am a huge Taylor fan ;) like I recite the words to the titles. ;)
I really wasn’t sure if I was going to like all the song titles I thought oh this might get too cheesy, but it was done in such a way that you find yourself enjoying it.

I loved the writing, I think this is a first for me by this writer and I will tell you I will be looking for more. Its low on drama but big on love which I love.

Blake wasn’t the whiny girl who has a rock star life she actually digs her fans, does the “fame” get old sure but I think she was probably one of a few books I enjoyed reading because she was low drama.

Zach oh Zachy if I could tell you one thing it would be to grow a set. My god man if you just stand up for yourself life would have been a hell of a lot more fun. ;)

Over all I enjoyed this book and these characters but what I love the most was the narration 100% on point. I loved Blake’s voice and the voice of her assistant.

"What we had was so damn real that all she could ever be was my fantasy."

I didn't read the synopsis before reading this book, so I had no idea what it was about. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. Dr. Rebecca Sharp did an amazing job of captivating me with Blake's character and forgetting that the muse of this story may be Taylor Swift. I really enjoyed getting snippets of Blake and Zach's shared past and memories. As well, their chemistry was exquisitely written.

"You're like the North Star, Baby Blake; no matter where I steer, I somehow always get led straight back to you."

I loved the whole premise of the book about rockstars, older brother's bestfriend, fake relationship, and the forbidden romance. I highly recommend reading this EPIC book. Reputation by Dr. Rebecca Sharp will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

“I was just a girl trying to find my Prince Charming—while the whole world watched.”

Reputation by Dr. Rebecca Sharp is a book I’d been looking forward to since she dropped the announcement. Because, confession: I’m a proud Swiftie! No shame.

This is my second book by this author, and just like the first, I’m simply blown away by how easily she pulls me into the worlds she creates. Her writing flows so effortlessly and beautifully across the pages. Then throw in characters I can easily relate or grow to love in the form of Blake and Zach, and she gave me a book I couldn’t put down.

Blake Tyler captured my heart from the start. Yes, she has her weak moments when it comes to a boy—one she’s not suppose to want—especially during her teen years, but give a girl a break. She was young, and I can personally say there has been a moment in my past, when I was a teenager, where I made a complete fool of myself due to a guy.

Seriously, it wasn’t pretty. *cringes*

However, Blake’s a girl that wears her heart on her sleeve—fearless, takes charge of what she wants, and no matter what, she comes out standing on the other side.

“Zach was that sensation in my life where I couldn’t tell whether he was hot or cold, real or fake—all I knew was that he burned.”

Zach Parker, I’m not going to lie, it was a little hot or cold with my feelings toward him at the beginning. His actions toward Blake elicited a strong side-eye from me. However, this guy redeemed himself with flying colors once we got inside his gorgeous, yet complicated head. He was in a tough place of trying to keep the peace with his best friend, or going after the one thing he always wanted.

Now, Blake’s brother, Ashton...here’s to hoping if he gets a story, that it gives him a run for his money. He deserves it.

“She thought I was ripping through her heart when the truth was that I was carving out my own.”

Heart-achingly beautiful. Brilliant. Enchanting. In the end, Reputation is one of those books that took a piece of my heart I’ll gladly live without. This may be based on Taylor Swift; however, Blake and Zach have a reputation that shines all on their own. I fell head over heels for these two and their whirlwind love story!

“Of all the stars in the sky, Blakebaby, you’re the only one I’ve ever wished for...”

If you love rockstar or popstar romances, like myself, then you should totally give this one a read. It has easily become one of my favorites!

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review:

This is the first book that I’ve read from Rebecca Sharp and it definitely won’t be the last! I love the main character, Blake Tyler, and that she’s so honest and easy to read. While she is a bit self-destructive when it comes to love, I enjoyed watching her character really grow throughout the book. Her love interest Zach is the classic tortured bad boy that she’s holding a candle for. He’s good looking, the brothers best friend, talented and yet mean. I did struggle through some parts where I felt he really was just too mean. The book was easy reading, and for any Taylor Swift fan, you’ll definitely enjoy finding all the Easter eggs! In the end, I was happy for the HEA and Blake’s “reputation!”

"I'd loved Zach Parker with every fiber of my eight-year-old body, and every cell that had grown in it since only magnified the obsession."

For someone who has read thousands of books, I'm pretty stingy about calling a book a 'favorite'. As readers, we all have certain things that tick our favorite boxes, right? Well, music is a favorite theme for me so I'm especially drawn to those stories. Rebecca Sharp is a fairly new-to-me author but she's blown me away every time I've opened one of her books. I'm especially drawn to broken characters and she writes those so beautifully. So, even knowing all of those things, I was still surprised by how much I loved Reputation. It's...everything.

Yeah, I kinda like (understatement) reading song lyrics in a story. Especially when those lyrics involve a broken heart. 💔 Aren't they always the best? Well, as you probably already guessed, that's where the magic happens, the pain pulls you in by making you feel something close to your own experiences. There's nothing like waving your pain in front of thousands to make you a star, right? Those lyrics were her therapy. Those men that followed were her attempt at finding someone who comes even remotely close to what she wants but can't have.

I have to confess, I hated Zach for the way he treated his best friend's little sister. At least the version of him that developed once he knew she had a crush on him. I guess he figured the best way to change her mind was to make her hate him... it worked for me, but for her...not so much

The author took me on a journey from a treehouse to a concert stage. From a crush to a broken heart. From wanting to willing to wishing to without. I felt her pain and questioned right along with her. "Was saving my reputation worth the open and public dissection of my my heart?

Of course, my matchmaking self had their fairytale all planned out in my head. Could I handle it if that wasn't how it happened? It was too late for me to change my mind at this point, I'd gone too far and was too invested in their future, good or bad.

Let me tell you, for someone who pushed her away at every opportunity, even I could see the lust in his eyes when he looked at her. His lips kept saying no, but his eyes said hell yeah! Or, was he just that good of an actor? Could she handle another rejection? Could I?

"My clothes clung to every length and curve; I wanted to remind him what a mistake I was." Yeah, you go girl! I encouraged her. What can I say but 'go big or go home'. This is her heart and her future at stake and no matter how hard she tries to change its mind, her heart wants only him. "I was a wreck and he was the wrecking ball."

Now I'm the hot mess! I have a book hangover. I've gone from cold to hot to melting into a puddle on the floor. I've smiled and sighed and ranted and raged. I've experienced every emotion in existence while reading this amazing story. It was so damn good I want to read it again. I can't wait to get my hands on Redemption. The line forms here...

This is my first and certainly not my last read by this author. Once I started I couldn’t put it down.

This is a fantastic well written rock star story that I couldn’t get enough of. Blake and Zachary sure put me through the wringer with this one. Some brilliant secondary characters as well. Big thumbs up from me.

I honestly love me a good old rockstar romance and I was very intrigued when I found out that it was Taylor Swift inspired, it was a light read BUT all the Taylor Swift lyrics incorporated in the story were very cringe and a little too much ngl to you, still a good story, a light read and a VERY predictable ending

The world's biggest pop star, her accolades, accomplishments and achievements ignored...because of her love life... one failed relationship after another...she's a heart breaker and a man eater..right?? Nope..she is vulnerable and big hearted and attracts users and cheats...but the press will spin what it wants to sell the info... irregardless of the damage it can cause to someone's reputation.

With a plan in mind to save her current tour, Blake has no choice but to ask her brother best friend for his help...Zach sets her on fire, has done since she was a little girl...he has always owned her heart... at 15 he started her on her journey of music and has to help her save it...even if it means risking her breaking to pieces all over again.

WOW...first read by this author...and just wow...what a fantastic from the first page book!!
I literally hated Zach from the get go...he was cold and callous and mean! I had no idea how the author was going to change my impression of him... I was not sure how it was gonna go there for a while as I was prepared to hate him long haul if need be 😂😂😂 so BIG kudos to author for being able to create such a anti hero and yet bringing me round to semi rooting for that sucka 🤣🤣🤣

Total opposites in regard to their characters...Zach dark and broody, came across so much more worldly and older than just 27 to Blake's 25, but again thats down to the great craftsmanship the author put in to creating such a unpretentious and naive leading lady.
I loved their interactions and their chemistry was just outta this world. 🔥🔥🔥

Without giving too much away about this book it was filled to the brim with love and angst and heart break 💔....I've read many enemy to lovers/ brother best friend romance books but this by far has been one of the best...I devoured it in one sitting and nothing could tear me away.

I will be reading and looking forward to more by this author.
