One secret could destroy them all in this epic saga about love, ancient secrets, and betrayal...

Humans fear the dark, hiding from bloodthirsty demons prowling the night searching for their next victim.

There’s only one thing that can save humans from extinction—an elite squad of warriors. Part human and part demon, these fighters known as the Bator Patrol Guard are the only ones willing to take on this battle, even though they’re shunned by the humans themselves.

Kalani only wanted to rescue her friend from a torturous death when she entered the forbidden realm of a demon army. She didn’t expect to end up slaying their leader, stealing his pendant, and starting a war. But that pendant had the same symbol on it as the Bator Patrol Guard used as their emblem.

How was this possible? What did it mean? The elite warriors couldn’t possibly have any relation to the demon army…could they?

Can the Patrol Guard unlock the mystery of the pendant before a war destroys them all?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️STARS
ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-3/4/18.

The Gods of Greyfall was a delightful series of three novellas by A.J. Norris.
This was the first thing I've read by this author and I found myself pleasantly surprised.
I was fully engaged throughout and it was incredibly easy to get sucked into this vivid new backdrop.
The world created here was explained in an extremely coherent fashion and instead of experiencing barked facts I found that this was very cleverly interwoven into the present story.
This was great as sometimes authors can overcomplicate this process trying to cram everything in far to fast.
The Gods of Greyfall, I found, was so easy to follow along with.
So If I had to pick a favourite couple here, it would have to be Cutler and Jade.
I just felt incredibly connected to these two, their story and the fact that it felt like a love reconnected across aeons kinds moment totally touched a chord with me.
I mean I liked all our guys and gals but there two, well let's just they gave me that aw!! moment.

cute

The whole mythological feel to this was also a winner with me, with its Egyptian, Bator and demon storyline.
And I also got to say here that I loved the fact that these rock hard warriors were so up and close with there pussies.
(and I'm not talking of the of the female sexual variety here, though they do get up and personal with those too if you know what I mean, wink, wink. )
I just loved that these Demon fighters pets were small cute meowing felines.
It just showed there soft and vulnerable side.

Dave-Franco-dave-franco-19758311-500-264.gif

So having these three interconnecting stories really worked as it compensated for there length.
Giving us a much more in-depth portrayal than you would usually get in a short novella.
These were short insa-love, low-angst paranormal indulgencies that for me kinda worked.
They were really romantic and for me hit that sweet spot.
So lastly I just want to say I'm totally loving the front cover of this, like seriously it's so
eye-catching and all and if I was choosing this based on its cover it would get the full 10/10 for me.
So Give these a look if you like a bit of PNR I thought they were a great read.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of (The Gods of Greyfall Collection) of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

This collection of novellas will appeal to young adults who love a fast-paced adventure about ancient gods, demons, and lab-bred warriors. The plot unfolds throughout the course of three novellas that each center around different characters.

I found that with this structure, each part evolves at a hasty clip that sacrifices complexity and detail. The framework is there for an interesting story, but as novellas rather than one integrated plot, the overall product is underdeveloped.

Some of the content is explicit and clearly intended to appeal to new adult or older audiences, however, for me the dialogue and character interactions lack maturity. The general mood of the story is casual and spirited. The mood, combined with the pace and emphasis on heroics makes The Gods of Greyfall a fitting option for young adult readers. While this story was not for me, I feel younger readers who are interested in fantasy or paranormal may find this a fast-paced, tempting read.

This action packed three for one trilogy from AJ Norris will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the last. The God's of Greyfall is a beautifully written story about three unlikely couples who defeat a demonic hoarde invading from another dimension.

In the first story, our hero Dru reunites with a blast from his past named Kalani. The sparks that fly between them are epic, but will they be able to put aside their differences to save each other or will they let the past tear them apart?

In the second volume of this roller coaster ride, Riordan, who has loved Kalani since he was a small boy, has to decide if he can let his love for her go. Will he let his feelings for her choke out the chance to live his own life, or will he throw away a future with Nadine in favor of forever mourning what could have been?

In the climactic ending of this trilogy, the boss finally gets his chance at love. Cutler has lived and died for centuries searching for a way to end the war between demons of the Other realm and his own world. When he awakens a mysterious sleeping beauty from her sleep will she be the key to unlocking the mystery about what started the war in the first place?

With action packed into every bit of this story, AJ Norris manages to weave the love stories of three couples into an edge of your seat thrill ride through Egyptian mythology and otherworldly demons.

I loved the way the way AJ Norris blended these three amazing love stories into one epic saga. It was well worth the read.

Excellent series. In book one Dru and Kalani are reunited when Jade is taken by the demons. These two are very much made for one another but will the past keep them apart? Book two gives us Riordan meets Nadine and things go crazy. The demons have her sister and she is determined to find her. They want the relic but Riordan need to keep her safe. Can they save her sister? Book three gives us Cutlers story. He takes Jade away when danger hits headquarters. When she wakes up from her catatonic state, she gets scared and runs away. Can Cutler save her in time?
Awesome stories.

Ohh Bators and Demons have a long standing war. But the demands are becoming more confident as they pick off the humans who the Bators protect.
Kalani’s best human friend Jade suddenly gets snatched by Demons and taken to their realm. Can Kalani save her, will the other Bators help or will Jade have a surprise for them all.

Enjoyed the characters particularly the strong leading ladies. There was romance which developed through the books with each book focusing on a different couple. You also get some hot Bator sexy action.

The vivid descriptions of the other realm and the Bators and Demons was fantastic and drew you into their lives.

Good books with lots of action, however I did find it a bit disjointed in parts.

THE GODS OF GREYFALL COLLECTION is an anthology of three interconnected novellas and is the first book I've read from author A.J. Norris.

In this altered universe kind of story, we find demons who feed on human blood and genetically engineered men and women who protect the human realm. It's loosely based on Egyptian history and each of the three novellas is centered around a different couple.

In part one, we're introduced to two guardians: Dru and Kalani. This one's a second chance romance and pretty much lays the foundation for the rest of the book. They're super hot together, no matter how hard they try to deny it!

Part two is about Riory (Dru's best friend) and Nadine. They have more of an insta-love connection, certainly insta-lust! We find out a bit more about the demon world.

Part three, I think is the shortest and is the story of Jade (Kalani's best friend) and Cutler who's the boss of Riory and Dru. Here, the Egyptian influence is more prevalent which is why I think it's my favorite part!

Overall, this was 3.5 stars for me (rounded up to 4 because I adore the cover)! I loved the concept of the story, the hints of Egyptian mythology Ms. Norris weaved in were great. And I liked the characters, each couple was awesome together and worked to bring life to the book. But because the collection is so short, I felt that a lot of details were rushed or overlooked. I would've enjoyed a more complete and intricate storyline! Told from various POVs with a happy (for now?) ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

~ Unique guardian world with interesting twists ~

There are three stories included in this collection:
Part 1 - Night Gods (Dru & Kalani)

Part 2- Stealing Night (Riordan & Nadine)

Part 3- Forever Night (Cutler & Jade)

There are three stories included in this collection:
Part 1 - Night Gods (Dru & Kalani)
Part 2- Stealing Night (Riordan & Nadine)
Part 3- Forever Night (Cutler & Jade)

These are all interconnected stories, and the main characters are lab-born, elite guard warriors, an exotically potent mix of Egyptian ancestors’ DNA, human, and demons, who deal with the magical elixir of blood and different realms.

My favorite of the collection was the first story, which sets up the other two really well. Dru runs into Kalani while out battling demons at their usual haunt. A lot of time had passed since Kalani had left the Bator Patrol Guard training program behind, severing their close friendship, both feeling they had to follow their own paths. But now, they have discovered something which could be important to their existence, something to do with why human women were disappearing, never to be found again. For Kalani, the goal was to find her friend Jade, and she will need Dru’s help to succeed. Kalani reached what was destined to be her full potential, kicking a$$ along the way.

I'm going to break this up into three parts. Since it is a collection and is in three parts, I feel that it's only right!

Part One

I was sucked in pretty quickly with Night Gods , it started off action packed and never really slowed down. The chemistry was there with the characters. Even with the lack of knowledge of the history of the characters or the world they live in, I couldn't put it down. I would seriously like to know more about Dru and Lani.

Part Two

Stealing Night completely slowed down, to snail pace in my opinion. I don't know why by Riory just can't hold my interest and neither could Nadine. I just didn't get the chemistry with them, nor was the "back story" really there for me. With the way that part one took off, I had high hopes that, that energy would continue on.

Part Three

Forever Night had a much better pace than Stealing Night, the connection with the characters was much better as well. I read through this one quickly, maybe even quicker than Night Gods. The pace and writing really kept this novella going, not to mention it actually went somewhere. Compared to the previous one. I find that this one had a bit more depth and even explained a bit more. Even though it is the smaller of the three.

Thoughts: I really liked this world and the characters. I loved the uniqueness of it, somewhat like vampires but not seen that way. Each of the three books are about a different couple that are mates but there’s a story behind those romances that continues through each book. I enjoy those, it keeps many of the characters from the previous book in play, and this one kept them all so even better. My only complaint is that more detail would’ve been nice, there wasn’t as much development or back story to satisfy my love of stories. but other than that I really liked it. The story truly did suck me in and I look forward to reading more from this author!

Three stories are part of this set. A paranormal romance series that is like nothing I’ve ever read before. The heroes are all called Bator, short for incubator. Which explains about how they were grown. They are part human, part demon and part god. They have some interesting abilities and are extremely strong. The bad guys are full blooded demons that seem to like to kill pretty much anything and love the taste of human blood. The three stories tell of three male Bators and the females they seem to be pulled towards. There is a lot of action, saving people and some hot love. I definitely hope there will be more to the series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the set.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, and I'm glad I was. It has three parts to this story, and I was drawn in by the interesting plot. I also liked characters. To me, what makes a good paranormal fantasy is if it is easy to suspend disbelief and believe the plot, and in this story the reader can do that. You have a battle against supernatural creatures, one set trying to protect humans- the Bator Patrol Guard- part human and part god, the other set- demons seeking to torture and destroy them. This is an action packed adventure I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Humans, demons and gods

This is a very good fantasy romantic suspense trilogy. The gods of Greyfall are genetically engineered soldiers whose DNA comes from humans, demons and a Greek god. They were designed to protect humans from demons who visit Earth through a portal from their Collective. The overarching storyline features three Bator Patrol Guards and the women who become their mates while they battle against an increasing demon threat.

This is such a brilliant collection of stories about those who hunt the demons but they are hiding secrets from the humans they try to keep safe. They are shunned by the humans. All she wanted was to save her friend but she ends up killing the leader of the demons and taking his token. What is going on? Follow her adventures
