Tour of Wills Memorial Building Tower (Thursday 5 March, 5.30pm): £4 (restricted to 30)

The view from the top of Wills Tower, some 68 metres above Park Street, is unparalleled and tour guides give a unique insight into the history of the building, which was opened by King George V and Queen Mary in 1925 before being badly damaged during the Blitz in 1940.

Bursaries for PPI contributors

Patients and members of the public (PPI contributors) who are involved in primary care research are welcome to attend the conference.

We have a limited number of bursaries available for PPI contributors to attend either Day 1 or Day 2 of the conference and their basic travel costs. If research teams do not have funds to cover their PPI contributors’ attendance you can apply for one of these.

To apply, please email swsapc-conference2020@bristol.ac.uk stating:

  • the name of the PPI contributor and nature of their involvement in your research
  • why it would be useful for them to attend the conference
  • why there is no alternative source to fund their attendance (e.g. grant funding).

Please note, the bursaries do not cover the PPI contributors’ time for attending.

Please apply by 24 January 2020.
