The KBSP Webinar Series is limited this year to give focus to implementing important and progressive changes to the KBSP Training Programme. We have added recordings of some general webinars delivered this year in case you missed the live event or if you want to view the session again or share with your colleagues.

Learning from Bristol Rapid Reviews

This webinar looks at:

• Understanding the statutory review process
• Review of national statutory reviews March 2021 – present
• Review of local statutory reviews since March 2021 – December 2022
• Reflection of improving practice from lessons learned in Bristol

ICON: Working Well Together Event

Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset partnerships held an event on 19th April 2023 to relaunch the ICON approach.

The ICON approach is a preventative approach for non-accidental/abusive head trauma in babies and infants, primarily used by health but any practitioner can have this discussion with parents/caregivers.

The event contained powerful lived experience from our communities, key note speaker from ICON and guest speakers from Police, Health and DadPad.

The presentations elements of the event have been recorded in two parts.

Harmful Sexual Behaviour Protocol

This webinar gives an overview of Harmful Sexual Behaviour, local HSB protocol, Key take aways and remaining core principles.

It gives professionals an understanding and overview of changes to HSB protocol for safeguarding children and young people, as well as providing information on the key messages regarding culture and multi-agency response.

Review of National CSPR (Child Safeguarding Practice Review) relating to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes and Star Hobson

This webinar (presented January 2023) relates to the learning from the National CSPR review for Arthur Labinjo-Hughes and Star Hobson.

As well as making national recommendations for system change, there were four key themes identified and explored in the review.
