Data Protection & GDPR

Data Protection is not just a box ticking exercise; the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduced in 2018 has changed how we do things in schools.

Making sure everyone is aware of the changes in the law, mapping out how we use data and where it is stored, ensuring policies and procedures are in place are all big pieces of work.

If this isn’t daunting enough, the idea of appointing a member of staff to take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee any subject access requests and data breaches is economically unviable for most schools.

What can we do for you?

You know your school and how it works. We have a dedicated specialist qualified adviser with expert knowledge of the common data systems, digital infrastructure and data protection legislation.
