The Dominic Lash Quartet's music ranges from intense electric free jazz maelstroms to spacious harmonic richness, by way of some weirder constructions. Building on original compositions and extensive improvisation, the quartet also takes in its stride music by the 14th century French avant-garde composer Solage and the much-missed Cecil Taylor. The quartet's last album, Extremophile, was described by All About Jazz as "thrilling listening" and by Kind of Jazz as sounding like "demented wasps".

DOMINIC LASH's other groups include duos with Seth Cooke and Angharad Davies as well as The Set Ensemble. He has performed with musicians such as John Butcher, Tony Conrad, Axel Dörner, Thomas Lehn and John Russell, and with ensembles including Apartment House and the Bozzini Quartet.

Spanish percussionist, JAVIER CARMONA, grew up playing drums with experimental rock bands and free-jazz groups in Madrid. In 2005, he moved to London and gained a reputation as a rising star of European Improv, playing with luminaries such as John Tchicai, John Russell and others.

RICARDO TEJERO is a Madrid-born saxophonist and clarinetist. He has played with John Edwards, Steve Noble, Mark Sanders, Pat Thomas, Veryan Weston, Tony Marsh and others. He leads his own quintet, Ensemble Progresivo, and plays with Roland Ramanan Tentet, Triatone, R&R duo, WARY, and The Trumps.

ALEX WARD is a composer, improviser, and performing musician. His primary instruments are clarinet and guitar, and he has also performed in public and on recordings on alto sax, piano/keyboards, bass guitar, and as a vocalist. His involvement in freely improvised music dates back to 1986, when he met the guitarist Derek Bailey. His longest-standing collaborations in this field have been with the drummer Steve Noble.
