As we look back at #EIFin2023 in our new Annual Report, the impact figures speak for themselves 💪 Despite ongoing challenges, the EIF mobilised more than €134 billion for the real economy in key European sectors. Prioritising #innovation, we stepped up our support for a wide range of sectors, from space tech 🛰️ to #deeptech, and significantly increased our investments for environmental #sustainability 💚. 🎓 In closing of the #EuropeanYearOfSkills, the EIF reinforced its commitment to skills and education with the announcement of 3 guarantee agreements with intermediaries in #Germany and #Spain at the #LevelUp event. "#Skills and education are the basis and backbone for the success of other policy areas." 💬 said EIF's Zvonimir Ratkovski. Under #InvestEU🇪🇺, the guarantees will back over €100 million in new financing to support over 40,000 students and learners in pursuing higher education or reskilling training 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dA4cs9p5 The announcement was made at the EIF's Level Up event, a joint initiative with #EIBAdvisory to mobilise all relevant partners to boost skills development and investment. "The EIF is creating an environment to offer opportunity," emphasised Silvia Manca.
