Delighted to announce the acquisition of our portfolio company Foundries.io by Qualcomm. Founders George Grey and Ian Drew recognised early the growing gap in embedded systems cybersecurity and so built the Foundries platform to offer a radically more robust yet flexible approach to Linux security. 📢 Venture Insight Fellowship We are delighted to announce the launch of our first Venture Insight Fellowship, for PhD students / Postdocs across the UK. Following on from a successful pilot at the University of Cambridge, we are pleased to be recruiting our 2nd cohort from early-career researchers at top institutions around the country. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will have the chance to learn the ins and outs of venture capital from members of the IQC investment team - learning everything from evaluating pitch decks to modelling cap tables and even having the opportunity to organise ecosystem events. We are looking for students and researchers working in any exciting areas of Deep Tech, such as semiconductor physics, artificial intelligence, neuroscience or synthetic biology! Anyone with an interest in VC or passion for entrepreneurship and startups should apply. Applications will be open until April 15th and reviewed on a rolling basis.
