We are thrilled to congratulate Emma Blackham, co-inventor of STP938, on receiving the award for best presentation at the 30th SCI - Young Chemist in Industry conference. STP938 is our lead candidate and the world’s most advanced CTPS1 selective inhibitor. Emma’s talk, “Discovery and Optimisation of Potent and Orally Available CTP Synthetase Inhibitors,” brilliantly highlighted the origins and development of Step Pharma’s CTPS1 programme at Sygnature Discovery. This award reflects the efforts of the scientific team on this target. Well done, Emma!

At Sygnature Discovery, we are developing novel approaches for the discovery of molecular glue degraders. This poster highlights the use of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for the identification of molecular glues from compound libraries. We have demonstrated this approach by screening 10,000 lead-like compounds and 1,300 fragments for glue properties, using the Cereblon ubiquitin ligase and SOS1 and SHP2 proteins, as a model system.  Dr Roland Hjerpe, our Senior Principal Scientist – IPT, is attending the Protein Degradation in Focus event at the University of Dundee this weekend, presenting our latest research in molecular glues.
