We Are With You`s Liverpool Integrated Recovery Service provides free & confidential support to people experiencing Issues and who need support with substance use.
We are a dynamic, supportive and caring service for young people and adults who live within the city. We provide a wide range of services aimed at reducing harm and building recovery with a focus upon empowering people to be the best that they can be.
About the service
We have an exciting opportunity for two employment specialist's to join our team -the post is fixed term until March 2023.
Our IPS (Individual Placement and Support) team aims to increase the number of people moving into employment from our drug and alcohol support service. This is a new project and is an exciting opportunity to help make a real difference to people's lives.
The role will be holding a small caseload and supporting moving people into employment. You will ensure the IPS project achieves it targets and delivers the correct support.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good employment, and the role it can play in the lives of those with multiple challenges and substance misuse issues.
You will be confident in working with a range of employers and have excellent multi agency and partnership working skills. You will have experience of supporting and managing staff, to achieve performance outcomes.
Good communication skills are key, as well as demonstrating a non judgemental and empathic approach. You will have experience of working with people from a variety of backgrounds, and those facing additional challenges to gain employment.

These are fixed term roles until March 2023, for 37.5 hours per week. Some late evening work will be involved.
