City Planning (Research & Monitoring)
Fixed Term until 1 February 2025 (due to postholder being seconded)

Bristol is often described as one of the best cities in which to live and work. The Strategic City Planning team is responsible for preparing the planning policies for the future development of the city.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail conscious person, ideally with experience in land use monitoring to join our forward-thinking research and monitoring team, to help deliver the evidence to support the Bristol Local Plan.
Able to work individually and as part of a team, you will make an immediate contribution, with responsibility for working with housing delivery data; preparing annual land use surveys and published reports. Having a committed and enthusiastic approach, you’ll be detail conscious when interpreting, analysing and communicating planning data.
Experience of Microsoft Office and the ability to use a range of IT software and systems, including knowledge of spreadsheets, ArcGIS and databases.
