She hid secrets and scars behind a blinding smile.
Until I decided to confiscate that smile, watch it, trap it, own it.
She calls it an obsession, a madness, but she’s seen nothing.
The moment I noticed her, her fate was sealed.
Then she became a key player in my unhinged game.
Once upon a time, there was a girl, a liar, a fraud.

Scorching hot sequel!

Wow! What an awesome sequel to the terrific stalker/captive romance book He Hates Me. From the very start I loved the obsession Jasper has with Georgie (his “Petal” as he calls her). And the fact that he found out everything about her by stalking her, breaking into her apartment, lurking in the shadows, following her, watching her sleep. He was so very creepy. But in truth he seemed to be right up her alley with her kinks and the fantasies she had.

When Jasper finally let her know he existed in He Hates Me and they became intimate, he seemed to be perfect for her until she discovered how he had been stalking her for such a long time. That is when she got scared. Though there were forces at work that were stranger than either of them ever expected when they discovered they had known each other as children when they were living in and orphanage.

The opening scene in this book is after Jasper, who now knows he is Alessio Vitallio, has kidnapped Georgina to Italy and the scene seems all sorts of dark and depraved, but in reality he is fulfilling one of her fantasies and she admits later how much she loves it. The intimate scenes between these two are kinky and super steamy. I give this book a heat index of five out of five flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 .

I really enjoyed how so many of the references in both of these books went back to their shared childhood even long before they discovered the fact that they were friends. Jasper from the first called Georgie his Petal like the daisies she used to pick apart when she was disguised as a four year old little boy Joseph and Jas was older and protected him. She would pull he petals asking if “he loves me” or “he loves me not“ referring to Jasper. Both kids needed each other back then when they had nobody else.

I don’t want to give to much away about this book, but though the romance is hot, Georgie is still a captive and no woman wants to be held anywhere against her will no matter how smokin’ hot the man you are with is. Also, Georgie is a Costa and Jasper is a Vitallio. The Costa’s murdered Jasper’s entire family and all their associates. Now Jasper is determined to get back at her father, Paulo and Lucio, not to mention to fact that Lucio still wants Paulo’s heir killed so he can take over the Costa family. So much to keep these two apart.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

This story is about a woman who had everything taken from her. And how she took it all back.

Well, the jaw dropping conclusion to the Hate & Love Duet is finally here and it was a hell of a ride.
I was immediately intrigued by the story of Jasper and Petal. Their romance is like a train wreck that you just can't look away from. It's crazy, depraved, at times brutal, and utterly fucked up. Jasper is by no means a normal guy. He's borderline creepy but there's always this edgy element to him that you can't seem to get enough of.

This book takes off immediately where the first book ended. And considering the cliffhanger, I was rabid to jump into this one.

Now admittedly, I didn't click with this installment as much as the first. There's a fine line between the hot sex overriding the plot, and the first book skated right on the line. I felt like this one skated right over it. While the sex was hot, I wanted more story. I wanted more development on these characters. That just felt a little lacking for me. There were some plot holes that were never addressed. Jasper just miraculously remember everything suddenly. And his memory comes back vividly. And he just takes up right in that world like he never left. I needed a little more there. I wanted more story and I really felt like all of the sex really overshadowed the story here.

The connection that I felt with these characters in the first book wasn't quite as strong here. There was just something missing but I can't place my finger on exactly what it was. I do feel like this would have worked better as one book instead of a duet, but that may be my own personal bias playing a factor.

Don't get me wrong, this was still entertaining as hell. Jasper was just as crazy if not crazier. And Petal really grows into her own and goes from prey to queen. So while this one wasn't a total win for me, i still enjoyed it quite a bit and would eagerly read any future book from these authors.

He Hates Me Not is the conclusion of a creepy sexy duet that left us all wondering in the first book. What will happen next? With the under current of stalker tendencies, family secrets, and a huge target on their backs, Jasper and Georgina already had a lot to deal with. But what happens when their worlds not only collide with each other, but explodes?

source-5.gif

This story picks up right where He Hates Me ended and if you’ve read it then you know it ended on a disturbing cliffhanger and we wanted to see exactly how this was going to play out. Georgina is in a new territory where Jasper is king and it’s his rules she has to follow now in a sense. But as much as he’s ruler, Georgina is a queen in her own right and when it comes family legacies, hers is not to be messed with also. With things being different and Jasper handling things as he sees fit, how will Georgina adapt to a new world that is so much different to her past?

If you’ve read my review for the first book, then you know that I had a few issues with it. I was not a fan of the excessive amount of sex and the lack of the plot and that did hinder my reading experience because I wanted more. Now as for this book, there was a little bit more plot but it was not as much as I was hoping for and it lacked depth. I think that instead of this being a duet, it should have been one book and maybe I would have enjoyed it a bit more.

With an ending that wrapped perfectly for this couple along with some hot scenes, He Hates Me Not will be a good read for you if you love stalker mafia romance reads.

If you've read and liked this book, please don't read my review because I'm going to go off on this one. Please note that this is not a hate review but my agitated response to something I was looking forward to.

I haven't posted my review for the first book in this duet and I won't be composing one in the future either.

Just know this that this book was - Bakwaas!

In my personal opinion, this book shouldn't have existed. The authors could have easily done a standalone book of 300 something pages than going through the trouble of splitting it all up into two. I'm most disappointed!

Upto 50% in this book is nothing but sex. So much so that I had to skim it to the end. When would everyone understand that Romance doesn't always equates to sex. I like a healthy dose of smut but I didn't pay for this book to read porn.

And for the last time, why does the heroine can't get over the body betrayal??!!

The only good thing happened was in the end, but it was wayyyy too predictable!

I've loved Rina's book in the past but this one wasn't her....

Jasper and Georgina's relationship was crazy, depraved and passion filled. There is still no character development and like everyone I'll complain that it's alot of sex with them always. Jasper and Georgina's past was a smackdown history but with them suddenly remembering their past was so parody and then picking up where they left off as if a bomb didn't denote and cause havoc. Georgina keeps pushing Jasper away and her denial in her obsession with Jasper was getting on my nerves. There is still the push and pull between them but we see a different side from them. This time their feelings and relationship dynamic is involved.

This story was intriguing and has dark and dangerous element. To me this story felt overshadowed and few things which were not clear here. I didn't enjoy this book as I did the first one but I was eager and curious enough to complete this duet.

'He Hates Me Not' is the second book in the 'Hate and Love Duet' by Rina Kent.

This book picks up where the last book ended at a cliffhanger. Jasper has now kidnapped Georgina and is keeping her at his family house in Italy against her wishes (not really "against her wishes" but whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess) Anyway, the book picks up where the last book left us, at the chase. Jasper gives Georgina an ultimatum, if she reaches the house discreetly, without him catching her, then he'll let her go back to the States, if not then, well, she'll be staying there with him. He wasn't afraid to play dirty, because he did and there was no way Georgina could've won but he needed to do that to make her stay, to make it seem like she had a choice or a chance of leaving. (not really, it was only the for the thrill of the chase, but lets keep it positive)

That’s wrong, isn’t it? I’m not supposed to crave my captor, my kidnapper, my tormentor.

Even though Jasper is holding her captive, she can't help but want him in all his cruelty. Jasper was being cruel to be kind. He may not have had the best way of showing it, but deep down he cared for her. A lot. And would do anything for her.

Georgina is in a new territory, far away from everything she knew, her cats, her friends and her job. She may be being held captive, but she was a queen in her own right. Even though Jasper made certain rules *cough* understatement *cough* for her, we could see that she was growing on him and bringing out his soft side.

The reason it was a 3 star read for me:

Okay, so, even though I enjoyed this book, I felt that it lacked certain depth. Imo, Jasper deserved better than Georgina because during Jasper's POV, he mentions how the situation has changed, and even though their supposed to be sworn enemies, he can't help but crave her in more, different ways and how he wants to stay with her till their grey and old. As for Georgina, she actually starting annoying me with her endless monologue! In her POV, she kept thinking of ways to escape and get away. I felt that if she just tried to talk to Jasper about it then they'd come up with a solution but thats just it! They never talked! In the previous book I felt that the lacked an emotional connection but it wasn't any better in this book!

Again, hated Georgina with her endless monologues about god knows what and I couldn't help but skim a little during her POV.

Like I said before, the story lacked certain depth. I would have appreciated little more of Georgina's and Jasper's past or more like Jasper and Joseph's past. Did I mention that I hated Georgina? or that Jasper deserved better? Also, I felt like there was little a lot of grovelling needed from Georgina's side, especially for the things she said to him.

Maybe, I didn't enjoy this book so much because I had high hopes going into it especially after the last book but this one was just whatever I guess. Ngl, I am a bit disappointed due to the way everything was wrapped up, and this book was more like a 'meh' for me.

Overall, I enjoyed this duet and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stalker romance!

3.5 dark stars!!!!

This was dark, hot, and intense. Though not as intense (mafia vibes) as much as I expected it to be.

Jasper (or should I say Alessio?) is as hot and as psychotic as ever, especially in the beginning. And he’s hella alpha-male possessive.

I’m glad Jas shows his sweet side though since his torment was kinda OTT. He was pretty romantic 🥺 it made my heart flutter, lol.

There’s no OW or OM drama, even though I expected there to be.

The sex was hot and intense and super kinky. Trigger warning: kinda rapey vibes at times though.

I will say this was a bit of a quick read. There was mafia drama but not OTT — I kinda expected there to be more action after what went down in book 1.

It was a great read. I read from 20% to the end nonstop.

....Buuuuut, I can’t help but feel as though it was missing something 😕 maybe it’s the lack of OTT mafia drama? Idk. That’s why it’s 3.5 and not 4 stars!!

To say this was a disappointing read is a bit of an understatement. He Hates Me Not is Book 2 of the Hate & Love Duet and the conclusion to Jasper & Georgina's story and can not be read as a standalone.

Going into this book I had such high hopes and was very much anticipating how this story would end considering I really enjoyed Book 1.

Book 1 was Intriguing, Suspenseful, Dark, Addicting, Passionate, Steamy and oh so very Fiery all of which was non existent in this book. This book was frustrating and not in a good way. The first half was super slow and mainly consisted of sex which didn't add anything to the development of the Main Couple. They felt like filler scenes and quite frankly I skimmed them as they did not hold the same passion and appeal as they had in book 1. The rest of the story felt rushed and very predictable/cliche and there was no real point in splitting this story up as I feel it would've worked better as 1 book.

Jasper still felt like Jasper though a more watered down and softer version of himself and I found that I just felt indifferent towards him the entire book.

Georgina who was this girl?? Seriously she was nothing like the girl in book 1. She was incredibly naive, selfish, irresponsible, annoying and bratty at times. She was a very indecisive and an extremely bland character who seemed to be playing the role of the 'victim' but it lacked emotion and because of most of her actions I lost all the chemistry, connection and heat between her and Jasper that had been building since book 1.

This book was extremely lack laster & bland & I found I was forcing myself to finish (I know I should've DNF'd this). This was only 166 pages and took me 2 and a half days to finish. If that isn't saying something then I don't know what is. This is also the 2nd duet I've read by Rina (though this is co authored) that has disappointed me and even though I do still want to read more from Rina I'm not sure if I'm going to.

The 2 Stars are for the cover becuase its actually beautiful and the best part of the book.

FIVE STALKER STARS for Georgina and Jasper ❤🖤❤🖤!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

WOW!!!

I don't what to write but everything I wrote for "He Hates Me" the first book from this duet also goes for this book too.

After I've read "He Hate Me", I wanted the next book at the same moment because cliffhanger was unexpected!

And now when I've read "He Hate Me Not" I can say only WOW!

"He Hates Me Not" is an extremely dark and mind-blowing book that will occupy your mind and for every page, you read, you'll need more and more answers.

Georgina and Jasper's relationship trough the whole duet is intense and pure fire.

I couldn't get enough of them.

If you like the first book from this duet, you should definitely read this one!!!

Do you love stalker?? Then you're gonna love Jasper 😍😍😍
I really loved this duet, it has everything i like: obsession, passion, raw and deep love, secrets that keep you glued to the pages...
And i also liked the whole "Romeo &Juliet" situation, but luckily we had an HEA here 😂

4 ‘Daisies’ 🌟

The decimation of the human mind, turning them into creatures of survival just to repeat it all over again isn’t only euphoric but also a turn on.

He Hates Me Not was not exactly the sequel I was imagining for Petal’s and Jasper’s story, but am I disappointed? Absolutely not! Honestly, this story took few turns and they were completely entertaining and gripping to read about! The sequel continues at the same exact point He Hates Me left off and it is a mafia style Romeo & Juliet. Don’t worry, there is HEA at the end and it was so satisfying, though I wouldn’t have minded to read more about how it all worked out.

That’s wrong, isn’t it? I’m not supposed to crave my captor, my kidnapper, my tormentor.

As for the characters, it was good to see how Petal and Jasper developed and fell for each other throughout this book. Also, I got to see the soft side of Jasper so I’m not complaining one bit. Don’t get me wrong, he is still ruthless and still has his caveman tendencies towards Petal, but it was refreshing to see him care about how his actions might affect Petal. It was refreshing to read about Petal and how she grew determined and developed a backbone to hold her own against Jasper!

My little Petal and I might have formed a connection through the depraved kinks and fantasies, but over time, it’s become more.

Aside from these two, I am also intrigued by Angelo and, more so, Enzo. Angelo intrigues me because he only sleeps with widows…I smell a good story there! As for Enzo, the way he was introduced in the first book and how he is portrayed in this book makes him seem like a great leader, but very similar to Jasper in the way he is calculating and ruthless. The way he is compared to Jasper makes me hope that he gets his book to see how someone can melt his heart.

Sometimes, it’s fucking damnation, all the shit I feel for her, but other times, like now, it’s fucking everything.

Overall, I enjoyed this conclusion to Petal’s and Jasper’s love story! I’m glad they got their HEA just like I wanted them to get after reading the first book. This book was a great combination of chemistry between the MCs, plot twists, suspense, and action that kept me entertained and interested. So much so that I read around 75% of the book in one sitting. I highly recommend this duet if you are in mood for dark romance combined with a suspenseful plot! But also heed the trigger warnings before jumping in!

Gah!! I have been waiting for He Hates Me Not after that crazy cliffhanger in book one. This story was erotic, addicting and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Georgina and Jasper were SO AMAZING! Their connection was fiery and the passion between them was incendiary!! I am SO obsessed with this duet!!!

What I love more than anything is how both Kent and Starling did not pull their punches! Yes, this story went there and it was as deliciously dirty and dark as ever. It is also for damn sure not for the weak at heart but it is no less fantastic. I loved every word and the pull between them. The secrets and shocking revelations in the story were phenomenal!! I legit never wanted this story to end!

Overall, Jasper and Georgina were fabulous. The story was filled with fiery passion, HOT AF combustible chemistry and a mafia story that will consume you. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

Jas & Petal Made Sequels Great Again

“Don't say you need me if

But you do it well

Pretty When You Cry – Lana Del Rey

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
This is the sequel to HE HATES ME (HATE & LOVE DUET, #1). You must read that first in order to continue with He Hates Me Not. Petal has been hiding all her life until the day that Jasper catches up with her and her fate is finally sealed.

You won’t understand how excited I was to welcome this baby arc to my Kindle. I picked it up right away and I read well after midnight, unable to put this explosive sequel down. Page-turner alert on 100%. I’m extremely happy to confirm that part two of this duet was just as incredible as part one. This dark stalker romance pulled at heartstrings, hormones and my personal happiness. LOL. The setting is different, but still so irresistible, juicy and lively… I loved the setting. Being under quarantine and reading about THAT setting had me all sorts of swooning (the country; not the circumstances under which they're there). Petal did the best she could’ve done in her dark circumstances. I’m kind of baffled by what happened with her and a certain ruthless mafia with a BAD reputation that precedes them (as it seemed unrealistic for me personally), but other than that, our Queen Cat Lady stood her ground. I rooted for her so much. Our King Stalker and BDSM connoisseur galore played his part excruciatingly well. What can I say about Jasper that doesn’t make me sound like an uttermost sucker for him? He’s sassy, snappy, dangerous, gorgeous and has a weird thought process that makes you swoon. Both of the leads were so cute and adorable, I couldn’t stop obsessing over them. They were occasionally hilarious. Their steam was impeccable.
I recommend this read to lovers of dark stalker romances (RAW/BELLE AURORA FANS WILL LOVE THIS DUET), electrifying and hilarious stalker slash killer men and cat ladies with kinky taste.

OMG THE PART TWO IS AMAZING...
FIRST ONE IS GREAT TOO BUT I LIKE THE SECOND WHICH IS THIS ONE EVEN BETTER!!!! I loved it very very much...
5 stars. 100 stars.
Well done.
Great
Book
!

DISCLAIMER.

THE BOOK AT FIRST WILL BE MYSTERIOUS AND CONFUSING BUT TRUST ME THIS BOOK IS WORTH TO READ IF WHAT I SAID BELLOW SUITS YOU. Be open minded k :)

--- THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE LIKE SERIOUSLY OMG.

He also kinda hard to understand with at first but he always sure about the heroine. Even sometimes he said it was a game and short obsession, he always knows deep down that his feelings for the heroine a true love. At first i was a bit mad at the hero but after a while i understand, i sympathize...

--- kinda like a dark romance but not too dark for me tho. I read many dark romance and this one is only dark like 10%. ITS KINDA DARK BECAUSE OF THE HERO.
not because of the heroine...

--- NO CHEATING. NOOOO....

--- THE SECOND BOOK which is this one is the continued story of the first series.
THE SECOND IS BOOK is more detailed on what actually happened and what the whole hero and heroines family.
Because BOTH ARE CONNECTED.

--- LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT
Especially the hero the minute he saw the heroine for the first time, HE PURSUE HER AND BECAME VERY OBSESSED.
in a hot and romantic way in my opinion :)

--- SOOO MANY JEALOUS SCENES from the hero. Like where do i even start?

1. "Keep away from that brand of as*holes if you don't want them dead"
Because this time the heroine went on a date with OM....
BEFORE SHE EVEN MEET THE HERO.

2. "My feet are moving of their own volition down the stairs. My muscles strain and it takes everything in me not to retrieve a knife and carves up every f*cker face who looked at her."

3. "IF I CATCH YOU SO MUCH AS LOOKING AT HER DIRECTION AGAIN, I'M GOING TO BREAK more than your f*cking nose."

4. "YOU KNOW CRAZY I GET when someone touches you, you know I'm capable of blooded murder."

Many more. Lol

--- THE HERO ALWAYS SAYS to the heroine:

YOU ARE MINE. i own you. MINE. mine!!!

👍

--- NO DRAMA WITH OW. ONLY WITH OM. And other drama is between their family and enemy stuff like that. NOT TOO ANNOYING...

--- THE HERO PUSH THE HEROINE AWAY SOMETIMES AND THE HEROINE AS WELL BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING...

--- IT HAS SEPARATION when they were officials and not official. NOT TOO LONG... DURING THIS TIME, BOTH ARE VERY LOYAL AND didn't go to anyone else.

--- The hero became a stalker at first when he saw the heroine a far because he was very fascinated to the heroine and FEEL THE PULL SO STRONG.
THE HEROINE FEEL IT TOO AFTER SHE FIRST MEET THE HERO.

--- NO PAST PARTNERS ever mention. I think both is celibate for a while. They don't really mentioned ever.

--- VERY HOT SMUT SCENES LIKE 🔥

--- NO VIRGINS

--- SAFE A BIT DARK HOT ROMANTIC LOVE STORY.

--- A BIT OF BDSM but not too much.

--- THEIR CONNECTION is like wowww....

--- HAPPY ENDING. Pregnant and married.

This book was a disappointment.
For me it just didn’t deliver. The plot was pretty much like any other Mafia book.
There was nothing new brought to the table. The best plot twist happened towards the end of the previous book ‘He Hates Me’ and this storyline was average at best.
As for the sex....If you removed all the screwing from the novel you haven’t got much left. (Still wasn’t comfortable with Jaspers treatment of his ‘little Pet’ ...barf. Even if Georgie in some f%#ked up way got her rocks off)

Everything played out just as you would expect, and therein lies the problem.

The lead up to the end was practically telegraphed. Typical mafia shootout stuff.
I patted myself on the back, I actually stuck it out to the end because (call me psychic) I new exactly how this book was going to end. Even right down to the special announcement from Georgie/Petal to Jasper at the very, very end
I don’t think i’ve ever read a Rina Kent book yet where there isn’t a, Two Years Later epilogue wth everything tied up in a neat little bow with the couple going off into the sunset.
All HEA’s, unicorns and rainbows. She never gives us a gritty dark ending ever! And you know what? ...Sometimes I would like her to surprise me. Do something different. More challenging....Oh well, I guess this is 24 hours I’ll never get back where I could have been reading a better book.

★★★𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑤★★★
(𝑨𝑹𝑪 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘.)
𝑅𝐴𝑇𝐼𝑁𝐺:⭐⭐⭐⭐

𝑯𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒕 is the second and last book in the 𝐻𝑎𝑡𝑒 & 𝐿𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝐷𝑢𝑒𝑡 by 𝑅𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝐾𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑠𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔, and what a duet it was.

𝑯𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒕 starts right where 𝑯𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒆 ended. Now Georgina is at the mercy of Jasper. But he is not the Jasper she knew as a kid, he is Alessio Vitallio and she is Georgina Costa.

"𝑾𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒔𝒐 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒇."

Their families have been enemies since ever, and now that Jasper knows who he really is; he wants revenge. He will not rest until he kills every last one of the Costa’s. And he will start with his Petal.

"𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒔."

Georgina is confused at the turn of events, she is Jasper’s captive now and he will do whatever he pleases to her. A part of her hates it, but a bigger part loves it. However, no matter what Jasper does to her is never enough, she wants to meet her father because she does not remember him as the monster Jasper described, but as a loving father who did what he did to protect his only daughter.

It was very nice to see a softer side of Jasper with Georgina, the fact that he can never say no to her was super cute. But I kinda felt like the author skipped a lot of things.

Like how come Japer never remembered his family before but suddenly he remembers everything?? It would’ve been nice to see how he started remembering all of that. And also when Georgina’s father said he had nothing to do with the killing of Jasper’s family and that it was his brother and father who did it, but we never knew if it was true or not. And then there’s Georgina and her fear of spiders which the author explained but did not really explain. I would’ve really loved to see Paolo confront his brother Lucio about killing his wife.

Regardless of these things, I really enjoyed this book and I really liked how everything turned out. Jasper and Georgina finally got their happily ever after.

It was wonderful! The perfect wrap for Georgia’s and Jaspers story! I truly love them as a couple they had so many loving and sweet moments it was perfect!

They are a peculiar couple and peculiar people but you can see the development of their feelings for each other and Jaspers obsession becoming something even stronger and Georgia accepting that she wants Jasper and that she loves him.

Even though this book and overall the duet was dark romance it made my heart burst with happiness and love, I just loved them together! Jasper and Georgia need each other and they can’t live and breathe without the other and I think that’s true love.

Their love story did not start in a conventional matter but their story and their ending was made just for them and it was perfect for them! I loved this book!

Omg ! this was one intense read. The story drew you right in from the very first chapters and kept you glued to the pages the entire time.I have to say that reading this story made me feel edgy and uncomfortable and if I am being honest scared out of my whits most of the time because Jasper scared the hell out of me right from the onset of meeting him.I could not help but, be drawn to the dark and dangerous man and I can see why Georgina is being drawn to the man as he's a bit of a mystery but, mostly she craves his dominance and the darkness that housed within him.

Jasper is dark ,dangerous a was a killer for the mob and now head of his own Crime Family the last of his line . Georgina aka Petal has gotten under his skin as well and now he is playing a very dangerous of cat and mouse with his prey Petal but, at this point it is anybody's guess who will come out on top as he is obsessed and protective of her all the while toying with his prey.We loved that Jasper and although he will always be dangerous and dark and dominate he was capable of softness and kindness and love .I believe Petal brought out these qualities within him perhaps made him a touch softer but, I have a feeling he will only ever show this side of himself to her and only her.

This couple had some super hot chemistry and the sex scenes explosive and highly erotic and filled with tons of kink! These author know how to make a reader feel the flames !

Petal aka Pet that is what Jasper aka Alessio found her backbone this time around. We saw her fight back for her freedom but, Petal knows it and so does Jasper she will never truly be free.Petal was one of those characters that were hard to figure out because she was constantly pulling Jasper in and pushing him away at the same time but, there was no question she was just as obsessed with Jasper as he was of her and even though Petal aka Pet will never admit it aloud she is drawn to Jasper's darkness and the only one to provide the kind of sex/kink that will satisfy them both and fulfilled all Petal's wicked fantasies.Even though Jasper and Pet's kink is not my kind of thing I have to say that Jasper had me craving some of that kink myself even only in theory lol....

The story was suspenseful and intriguing and had a cast of great characters that we thoroughly enjoyed.T..Omg ! Omg ! We just loved it !I loved this duo as they did a amazing job drawing us into their web of darkness !

***4 "Be a good girl for me!!!" stars***

AVAILABLE NOW

"My poor Petal doesn't know that not only her fate, but her entire life was sealed."

The second part of this dark and intense story was even more better than the previous one!!!
In here, after the first part's ending with all those revelations, the game has changed for both our heroes...
From some kind of lovers, now they are mortal enemies, but Jasper as being the bossy and calculated Jasper that we all know, he took matters in his own hands... and it was delicious to see how things were unravelling.
At the same time, enemies are on their tail and the danger is lurking around the corner.
What will happen after all???

"I've learned early on to never be blindsided, even by my own self.
It was the only way to survive."

"I'm a Costa and he's a Vitallio.
There's nothing that can erase those facts."

Well, i guess that i can not tell you much about this book...
In the first part, Jasper was obsessed with Georgina and he became her creepy stalker and then, he just fulfilled all her wildest and dark fantasies!!!
But near the end, things had changed for both of them....
Because both of them are not who they thought they are and the things are getting complicated as time was passing by...

"She tries to fight me, to get away, but doesn't she know that prey never escape once they're caught?"

"He's not only my tormentor but also my captor now. He's a nightmare."

At the present, Georgina in a way is a captive to Jasper's house...
And Jasper has other plans for her, sinister but also very calculating plans!!!
Of course, their kinky side is not satiated as the time is passing by!!! I can say that these two in the sex part are getting more insatiable than ever!!!
But still... Jasper wants to ruin Georgina in every aspect and Georgina wants to run away from him. But does she really want that???
Well, things were complicated for once again!!!

"If she thinks she'll escape me, then maybe my little Petal doesn't know me so well after all."

"He's breaking my walls and reforming them.
He's not only fucking my body, but also my soul. He's making me his whether I like it or not."

Well, i love Jasper!!! I told you that he was crazy and creepy, but oh my!!!! His madness is sooo appealing!!! Bahaha...
Of course, as a man, he was having this illusion that Georgina wasn't something more for him!!!
And yes, he was needing a reality check, but hell... it was delicious to see him struggling with her hold on him...
From the other hand, Georgina was having the same illusions...
She was "hating" him for what he was doing to her, but at the same time, she was loving every single moment of it!!!
Bahaha.... Yep, these two were both crazy and they were fitting so good together!!!

"The longer she fights, the harder I'll break her, and deep inside me, I don't want to break her, not in that sense anyway."

"I knew he'd consume me if I spent more time with him and that's exactly what he's done."

This story started as a stalker story, but at the end, it became so much more and I enjoyed this turn of events very much!!!
Can't wait to read more of these authors!!! Together and separately!!!

"Maybe the next time you see us, we'll both reigning over your empire."

3.5⭐

We are back this is the 2nd book in this duet and its steamy and to me it was little dark..not to much like book 1. Like I said in the other book or any dark reviews triggers are below :)

We pick up right after the end of the first book, Jasper and Petal aka Georgie are hiding out in Jaspers homeland now with the memories and some secerts out he has his plan made make sure his revenge happens he also making sure Georgia knows shes his. The games and fantasies he gives his girl is hawt and forbidden still. Their tension is sky high and Georgia has mixed feelings she secretly loves all the things Jasper does to her but she also wants to see her father. She needs those answers she needs her only family, but everytime she tries to escape Jasper brings her back.

I think Jasper grew a little more in this book even when he was obsessed with his petal he did let her go like he promised. As for Georgia she was also still the same she gave in way to easy lol i did wish she held out more.. but anytime Jasper sexed her up she was goop 🤣🤣🤣 but glad they sorta talked about their problems.

A decent finish. Ended up skimming most of the book. 2.5 ⭐️ rounded up to 3. 5 stars for Jasper, 1 star for Georgie, who might be the most annoying heroine I’ve ever encountered in a book. Even at the finish, I kept waiting for her to change her mind again. I loved Rina Kent’s All The Lies/Truths duet, but this one was nowhere near as good, maybe because it was a work shared with another author? Sometimes those attempts don’t go as smoothly in execution. Who knows. Oh well, onward and upward! 😁

In this book we pick up where book one finishes so you must read that before this one and we dive straight into the action where the cliffhanger left us.

Jasper is trying to keep Petal safe from the enemy and will do anything for that to happen. She doesn’t see it that way as he took her from her home and flew her to Italy. Petal though, the strong character she is, is always looking for a way to escape as she’s not sure how to survive Jasper and his dominant ways, but can’t deny the feelings she has for him and how good he makes her feel in a dark and delicious way. Jasper knows her wants and needs better than herself, throwing her mind into chaos.

“He’s not only my tormentor but also my captor now. He’s a nightmare.”

I loved Jasper even more in this book. His possessive nature was of the charts and he gave me chills every time he reminded Petal about it. I also really enjoyed the softer side we see of him, and his love note to Petal was beautiful and so totally him.

The story is dark, twisted, violent with a good mafia element and will completely draw you in. It’s fast-paced, addictive and the heat levels are turned up full!

This is my first ‘Stalker’ read and I really enjoyed it. I don’t always like when two authors write a book as sometimes you can tell who’s writing is who’s especially when you are more familiar with only one of the authors, but this story flowed, the writing was great and I would never have known. A definite recommend read.

ARC received for an honest review - thank you

Not me wanting a Jasper 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I really liked this duet, I liked how hord it went…. Jasper really was not playing around. That intro scene lmao… umm no comment…

I think Georgie got a little bit annoying, but I still liked her. The main conflict wrapped up too quickly, but I still liked it. That’s the theme of this duet. It wasn’t perfect, but I liked it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 STARS

The final instalment of the Hate & Love Duet was the perfect ending to Jasper and Georgina's story. Jasper is equally as dark as he was in the first book and you'll love to hate him. I really enjoyed the writing duo of these two amazing authors. He Hates Me Not by Isabella Starling and Rina Kent is a MUST read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!

The Last Petal of the Daisy: He Loves Me

This story picks up immediately where part 1 left off, placing us in Bella Sicilia with the two main characters cohabiting relatively peacefully while Jasper / Alessio assumes the head of his family's business and the community that looked up to the Familia Vasillio. Petal remains, with a measure of reluctance, by his side ever enraptured by their tumultuous, steamy, and delightfully kinky relationship. As the story evolves and Petal learns about more her past and her place in it, this knowledge and her own independence begin to influence their relationship, in addition to Jasper's plans for the future.

I enjoyed this stint in the old country, the personalities of the new characters I encountered, the internal conflict of seeking revenge, the two characters coming into their own, but I did find this book was less engaging than the first book. It was overly descriptive as to needlessly slow down its pace and not contribute to the storyline's progression. My attention was lost in the middle. Still, I must commend the authors' ability to render a full-immersion, film-watching visual of Sicily.

Overall, this book was a fairly predictable mafia story with some passionate kink, some love rediscovered, and some angst which resolved themselves into a heart-warming HEA. The originality came from (1) their time in Sicily where I do believe the authors nailed the sentiment of the region, (2) the steaminess of the characters' love play, and (3) the stellar character development. Good read, classic more than inventive, amid substantial world building with two very kinky, very appealing characters.

This was kind of short, no idea why the authors decided to split it up into 2 books 🤔💸💸💸💸💸

The captor/captive situation is kind of surface level, the stalking part was dealt with more thoroughly and extensively in the last book.

I'll give an extra ⭐ for the whole "running away from captivity with 2 cats". As a person, who's arm falls off after carrying only one of my cats to the vet in the cat carrier, I applaud Georgina's dedication and arm muscles to manage double the trouble 💅👑
