TRA Newsletter February 2021

Dear TRA committee member

We hope you are keeping well and enjoying the daffodils and other signs of Spring popping up across Lambeth. Longer days, warmer weather, and more flowers are on the way soon... until there we have a few items that may be of interest to you and your neighbours.

TRA automatic registration

You may have received an email in January regarding TRA registration and we want to provide clarification as there have been a few questions about how it affects some TRAs.

Any TRA that was in good standing and active, but has been prevented from holding AGMs by the Covid restrictions will automatically registered through the end of national lockdowns. This affects any TRAs that had their most recent AGM in the 2019-20 financial year and were due to have their next one sometime between April 2020 and March 2021.

Any TRA that was not in good standing, unregistered, inactive or had not held an AGM in the 2019-21 financial year will not be automatically registered. This may have an impact on your registration grants, getting involved grants, and Area Board nominations.

The current government road map indicates that restrictions may be mostly eased by 21 June and if this stays on track then most TRAs should be able to hold their AGMs again from Summer.

If you have any questions regarding your TRA registration please contact your Resident Participation Officer.

Covid-19 vaccination appointments for over 60s

Over 60s can now book a Covid-19 vaccination appointment on the NHS website. You will need your NHS number to book and you will be given options of nearby vaccination centres.
