Dear TRA Committee Member,

Welcome to our TRA Newsletter. You will find information on the North Area Community Hub consultation, ASB policy feedback opportunity, and High Trees educational offers.

North Area Community Hub consultation

With the changing ways of working and a need to localise services, we are looking to convert our existing North Area Housing Office into a Local Community Hub that allows residents to access a variety of services, advice and support in one location.

Services could include housing, mental health, housing legal advice, homelessness, debt or money advice, domestic violence support, and youth development activities.

We are running a consultation to understand what services local people would like to access at the North Area Housing Office and to gain an understanding of the service needs in the neighbourhood. The consultation closes on 9 August 2021.

ASB Policy feedback request

The Anti-social Behaviour Policy is currently in the process of being redeveloped and aligned to the policy commitments of the Social Housing White Paper (Chapter Six – to have a good quality home and neighbourhood to live in). The Housing Policy team are engaging stakeholders including residents to help shape the policy. The policy has so far been reviewed by a resident task and finish group and the policy has been circulated to the Lambeth 500 group for comments. The timeframe for final approval of the policy is September 2021.

We’re really keen to hear from you on how we can improve the policy and we look forward to receiving your comments.

If you have any feedback on this policy please send it to Calum Davidson cdavidson1@lambeth.gov.uk by Monday 30 August 2021.
