Ullswater ‘Steamers’ • Pay and display parking is available at Glenridding, Pooley Bridge and Aira Force. Parking is not provided by Ullswater ‘Steamers’ at Pooley Bridge and Aira Force. There is no parking at Howtown pier. • Paddleboards and bicycles are permitted on board our boats (except Lady Dorothy) at the skipper’s discretion. Charge applies. There are bicycle racks outside the Glenridding and Pooley Bridge pier houses. Please visit our website for further details. • Bring the whole pack! Dogs are welcome for £1. There are water bowls outside the main pier houses at Pooley Bridge and Glenridding. Just make sure your dog is on a lead, as even the most wellbehaved dogs may want to take the helm! • Open and covered, upper and lower deck seating areas. • Indoor saloons – perfect for when it gets a bit nippy. • There are fully licensed bars on board all boats and at Glenridding pier house. • When you’re feeling peckish, light refreshments can be purchased at the pier houses and on board the boats. • Stay connected. Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway • There are pay and display car parks at Ravenglass and Dalegarth for Boot stations. • Free Wi-Fi is available in both the Turntable Café at Ravenglass and the station building at Dalegarth for Boot. • Toilets, including an accessible toilet, are available at both stations. • For tiny tots, baby changing facilities are available at both stations. Pushchairs and prams do not need to be pre-booked onto the trains. However, due to limited space in carriages, they must be folded down and stowed in the guard’s van. The guard can assist on arrival. • Visitors can refill their water bottles using the handy, free-of-charge taps. • Set beside the line, there are lovely cafés at either end of the line serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, locally sourced pies and cakes, and full meals made to order. Plus, pre-booked picnics. And with free Wi-Fi, you can surf and slurp to your heart’s content! • The on-site Ravenglass Railway Museum tells the story of the railway’s rich heritage.
