The BP Energy Outlook 2020 is a widely respected and authoritative publication in the field of energy economics, used for reference by the media, academia, world governments and energy companies.

This presentation will take us through BP’s updated energy scenarios and focus specifically on implications in the European context. Mr. Zimmern will furthermore address the impact of Covid-19, the pace of renewable energy growth and the potential roles for natural gas, hydrogen and bioenergy in the energy transition.  

CIEP’s Associate Fellow, Martien Visser, will comment on the scenarios sketched from a Dutch perspective and will join in a questions and answers session on the discussed topics.
