(In Greek) Marriages and nuptiality in Greece

There have been significant transformations in marriage behaviour in Greece since 1980. In this short article we present these changes, attempting to answer to the following questions: Has the intensity of marriages as well as the mean age at marriage changed in recent decades? Do successive generations of women today marry more or less and at younger or more mature ages compared to past years? Does the marriage-based family model remain dominant? In analysing the issues raised above, our text focuses on the evolution of marriage patterns in Greece
