EDMO welcomes the 2022 Strengthened Code of Practice on Disinformation

The involvement of many different actors in its drafting, confirms what it is at the core of EDMO, namely the importance of a multidisciplinary and multistakeholder effort.

The new code sees an important role for EDMO in the implementation of a number of commitments. This role is a recognition of what EDMO has already achieved in a short time frame.

EDMO will also have a seat in the permanent task force that will ensure that the Code adapts and evolves in view of technological, societal, market, and legislative developments.
