Spotlight on your frequently asked questions of the month
The Enquiries team handles lots of questions from Global Counsellors every week. They would like to share answers to the following questions:
1. Can my student's personal statement be used for their scholarship application?
We recommend that your student writes a new statement for their scholarship application, focusing on why the scholarship is important to them and how it will benefit their studies.
2. Whose email should I use when submitting an application?
Please ensure you use your student's personal email address and not an agency-generated email address when you submit an application as this leads to complications with GDPR. Your student will also miss out on key communications to support them prepare for their arrival and may also miss important emails when they become an NTU student. If you have submitted the application through the Agent Application Portal, you will receive all application communications.

Scholarship Awards Evening 2024
Earlier this year, we recognised our international scholarship winners with two fun evenings of games, refreshments, photographs and networking. Over 700 international students joined us to celebrate their success and share their thoughts with us:
"I'm on top of the world. NTU has given me the wings to fly. Thank you."
Hiral Pandya, MSc Project Management
Scholarships can make a huge difference to your student so please encourage them to apply. Your student must have an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at NTU (including Confetti courses) before applying for a scholarship.
Next scholarship application deadline is Wednesday 1 May 2024 16:00 (UK time).
