Fenici, il romanzo di cui vi parlo oggi è uno Sport Romance molto carino, la cui trama si articola su diversi luoghi comuni, che però sono sviluppati bene e l’insieme è piacevole.
La storia si svolge prevalentemente a Chicago e i nostri protagonisti sono Oliver, un giocatore di hockey, e Sloane, l’amica di sua sorella fin dal primo anno di college.
Entrambi i ragazzi hanno ferite del passato che continuano a condizionare le loro vite.
Hanno trascorso gli ultimi dieci anni a cercare di evitarsi, ma l’attrazione tra loro è fortissima e cresce sempre di più.
Il libro è scritto con fluidità, molte parti sono di una tristezza infinita, mentre altre di grande ilarità, e tutto questo ci porta a entrare in empatia con i nostri protagonisti.
In questo romanzo ci sono molte scene di sesso e viene utilizzato un linguaggio parecchio esplicito.
Cominciamo a mangiare la nostra colazione. Io spargo lo sciroppo d’acero sui miei pancake e gli chiedo se ne vuole un po’. Lui lo prende e ne versa un bel po’ anche sulle sue frittelle.
Quando assaggio il primo boccone, non riesco a trattenere un gemito. “Questa schifezza è deliziosa.”
Continuo ad abbuffarmi di uova strapazzate seguite da un pezzo di salsiccia. Gemo di nuovo. Di solito mangio senza far rumore. Questa è la mia passione segreta.
“Cazzo, fai sembrare il mangiare una cosa erotica.”
Oli mi tira fuori dal mio stato orgasmico indotto dal cibo.
Mi giro e lo guardo, sentendomi un po’ imbarazzata, sapendo che la mia bocca è piena fino all’orlo.
“Cavolo, piccoletta, per essere così mingherlina, mangi come un lupo.”
Sorride, portandosi un boccone di cibo in bocca con la forchetta. Era un complimento? Sembra proprio di sì.
“È troooppo buono.”
Questa volta non posso fare a meno di gemere. “Lo so. È come se l’acquolina in bocca fosse deliziosa” conferma. “È come se, in questo momento, stessimo facendo sesso con il cibo” dice, mentre le sue parole mi si imprimono nella mente. Merda.
Devo averlo guardato un po’ confusa, perché poi dice innocentemente: “Oh! Dai, piccoletta. Poco fa, in macchina, stavamo parlando di orgasmi stuzzicanti senza penetrazione. Hai gemuto più volte e hai fatto roteare gli occhi come se ti stessi divertendo. Non puoi biasimarmi per aver fatto il collegamento.” …
Considerato che questi ragazzi si eccitano già con il cibo, provate a immaginare le scintille quando faranno sesso per davvero.

The book was very good and I was enjoying reading it. Then I was about 80% done, Oliver said (and I quote) ""I promise you there hasn't been anyone else. At least there hasn't been since before the playoffs began. Since the day I can to see you at your Krav Maga class." I admit. It isn't lost on me that she is going to piece the facts together. She will realise that there were womEn in my bed after I slept with her. It makes me feel like a s**t" I bet you weren't feeling like that when you were inside them and Sloane was mopping around. HE WAS STILL SLEEPING WITH OTHER WOMEN AFTER HE SLEPT WITH SLOANE. I skimmed the rest of the book once he said that. The Krav maga classes began when 71% of the book had passed and in the book's timeline, we are still talking about 2-3 months after they things started getting heated between them. I am supposed to fall for that kind of guy? And after that, we even got to see him with one of his causal hookups at a party where Sloane was in with his zipper down. I was tired of the virgin/I have slept with half the country trope after hearing about it for half the book and thing revelation made it even worse. Am I supposed to like Oliver for trying to keep it in his pants for 2 seconds? And did we really needed to know that? We didn't read about him doing the act, so why mention it when 4/5 of the book have passed? To create drama? To ruin my morning? To do what every other author does and repeat the same material? And Sloane just accepted it.... Like, "hey it's cool that you f**ed other women after you took my virginity and got jealous over another man" The main characters are weak and they deserve each other. I hope that Oliver is not carrying any STD's from all the manwhoring he did. Sloane should have moved on with another man. Oliver did nothing to make me feel like he deserved a happy ending. He is a commitment-phoebe and he doesn't even have a solid reason for that.
I would have given a second chance to series by reading books 1 or 3, but all of them feature manwhores and I am afraid that the author will continue with the same trope. In the third book, the main characters have a history, so I am already imagining the "hero" having slept around while the heroine has a handful (at best) partners. I am tired of having weak heroines who forgive and forget too easily.

Dritto in porta è il secondo volume di una serie di libri autoconclusivi, che hanno protagonisti diversi, ma se non volete spoiler sugli altri vi consiglio di leggerli in ordine.
Questa è la storia di Ollie e Sloane che si sono conosciuti tanti anni prima rispetto al momento in cui è ambientato il romance, grazie a Flynn: la sorella gemella del bel giocatore di hockey e la migliore amica di lei.
Sloane ha ventisette anni e per qualche curioso motivo è ancora vergine… certo non avrebbe mai pensato di poter desiderare di superare questo “scoglio” proprio con Oliver. Lui è l’opposto di ciò che ogni brava ragazza vorrebbe: ha una vita sregolata, tantissime partner diverse, non si prende un impegno e l’unica cosa che lo anima veramente è l’hockey, il suo lavoro e la sua passione. Questo fino a quando non si ritrova costretto a viaggiare a stretto contatto con Sloane e comincia a vederla per quello che è: una donna che potrebbe piacergli come nessun’altra ha mai fatto.
«Questo non sono io […[] Io non mi ingelosisco. Condivido le donne con i miei compagni di squadra senza pensarci due volte. Ma mi sento quasi stregato dai suoi chiari occhi verdi.»
La narrazione è piuttosto fluida e il libro scorre velocemente tra avventure divertenti e comiche, a tratti anche imbarazzanti, e momenti più profondi.
Entrambi i personaggi vivono un conflitto interiore non indifferente che li frena e non permette loro di lasciarsi andare e affidare il proprio cuore a un’altra persona.
«Ho bisogno di giocare con le sue parole per tenere alto il muro, per evitare di cadere a causa sua.»
È stato un piacere ritrovare i personaggi del libro precedente e vedere come la loro vita sia andata avanti, anche se solo come sottofondo. Mi è piaciuta molto questa storia, che si è mostrata divertente, profonda e che ha avuto una svolta del tutto inaspettata verso la fine.
Consiglio questo il romance a chi ama gli sportivi belli e dannati, e le storie di “amicizia” che si trasformano in qualcosa di diverso…

Tornano Oli e Sloane, finalmente pronti, più o meno, ad affrontare l’attrazione che li lega da molto tempo, un’attrazione sempre presente ma per ora sempre negata.
La storia inizia con un salto nel passato, con una Sloane e una Flynn amiche da poco.
Oliver e Sloane beh, il loro non è un incontro memorabile.
“Sei dannatamente sexy, piccoletta” e tutto comincia.
Torniamo ai giorni nostri, a due che vorrebbero mangiarsi ma si fingono solo amici. Uno incapace di impegnarsi, terrorizzato dall’idea di ferire chi ama, segnato dalla morte dei propri genitori, l’altra che non vuole una botta e via, vuole l’amore vero.
Complice un lungo viaggio in auto, Sloane e Oli si renderanno conto di non riuscire a ignorare quello che provano da sempre, ma entrambi non riescono a fare passi avanti, schiacciati anche dal proprio passato che torna a farsi sentire.
Senza risolvere i propri demoni nessuno dei due riuscirà ad aprirsi verso un futuro insieme.
Tra battute, ironia e momenti intensi e dolorosi, la storia corre veloce e si legge senza problemi rivelando personaggi di tutto rispetto.
Più gradevole del primo volume, “Dritto in porta”, conferma che questa serie sport romance vale la pena di essere letta.

Ho trovato che l’intera storia sia stata ben descritta e gira bene intorno a ciò che è il tema del romanzo.
So che la trama non fa capire fino in fondo cosa c’è realmente nel romanzo e qui, vi consiglio di leggere entrambi. Perché la storia di Flynn e Miles mi rapì il cuore ma questa, la storia di Sloane e Oli mi ha toccato l’anima.

Story was good, flowed decently, proofed well/no noticeable errors. I pushed on until 77% when he admitted he'd still been with others even after having sex with the h. Can't do the sleeping around. This was a DNF and a never again for this author.

I can’t say enough how amazing Butt Ending is. It was one book that I couldn’t stop reading until the end. Butt Ending is a 2019 top read for me.

I was REALLY excited for this book because I loved Sloane in the first one, and honestly the first half of the book was really good as well. However, it started going way downhill for me after she finally loses her virginity. Considering Sloane is worked up to be a badass, she forgives Oli WAY too quickly after 3 weeks of silence while he WAS off sleeping with other women. That’s right. Even though he’s well aware he has feelings for Oli (this is literally what the whole first half of the book is about) he admits to bringing WOMEN (plural) to his bed in the 3 weeks after he straight up ghosts Sloane after being her first. Disgusting. Then he tries to make it sound like he was miserable without her and shows up with flowers? Please.
Then, he friendzones her again. Despite her friends and family telling her she’s clearly getting depressed by waiting for him, she continues to wait anyway. I’m sorry but even if he’s getting professional help, Sloane continues to get the short end of the stick as he does 0 groveling or making it up to her at all. To top it all off, she hears him with another woman who he gave a ride to a party despite knowing there was something wrong with Sloane. Sure he said nothing happened but the fact that this woman got his pants unzipped and has a past with him? I just don’t understand why his priority wasn’t Sloane. She finally leaves and gets closure from her first love Parker, but then forgives Oli ON THE SPOT!?!?!?! Like WHAT. Where is the self respect girl!? You find out you’re going to be a mother and after months and months of waiting for this guy and him sleeping with other women and prioritizing other women you just forgive him like that? Ahhhhh. So frustrating and totally ruined the book for me, unfortunately.

È con il cuore pieno di gioia che annuncio l’inizio della settimana freddolosa in Florida. A Natale tutti a mare come al solito, ma almeno posso fare zuppe e cioccolata calda con mini-marshmallows per ora.
Stiamo tutti vivendo un periodo storico un po' pesante, quindi sono semplicemente felice quando trovo un libro che mi renda felice e che mi faccia ridere e passare una bella serata, come è successo con Dritto in porta di R.C. Stephens, secondo volume della serie Big Stick.
Ho un grande debole per le storie con sportivi, migliori amici e situazioni imbarazzanti, e questo libro rispecchia a pieno tali caratteristiche!
Sebbene i due protagonisti ci vengano presentati già nel primo volume, il libro può essere letto anche senza averlo fatto con il primo, essendo tutte storie autoconclusive.

Quello che abbiamo io e te è un amore su cui si costruisce una vita.
Flynn, per entrambi i protagonisti, è quella persona che si può definire “il porto sicuro”, pronta a caricarsi sulle spalle ogni - e ribadisco ogni - responsabilità della vita. È per questo che i due protagonisti si ritrovano in macchina per un lungo viaggio verso il Canada con un cagnolino molto eccitato. Quando Flynn chiama, i due corrono!
Sloane, a ventisette anni, non ha ancora dato via la sua V- Card (così definita da lei); lui, invece, non vuole affezionarsi in alcun modo all’altro sesso, se non per futili storielle, dopo la prematura morte dei suoi che gli ha causato non poche sofferenze.
Complici tanti battibecchi, tante ore di viaggio e tanta tensione sessuale, i due saranno costretti a scontrarsi con loro stessi, nonché il loro più grande ostacolo.
Sloane è una persona molto solare, che preserva la sua purezza, perché i suoi appuntamenti non hanno avuto finora un risvolto positivo: chiunque si sia ritrovata accanto, la metteva a disagio, irrigidendola.
La verità è che ha troppe aspettative verso il genere maschile e nessuno, fino a quel momento, è stato quello giusto per lasciarsi andare del tutto.
Oli, insieme alla sua paura di affezionarsi alle persone, finisce per ferire non solo chi lo circonda, ma soprattutto se stesso.

Trovo che questa citazione sia accurata per dimostrare quanto entrambi siano un caos! Pensate che a un certo punto riderete a crepapelle, perché Sloane gli lancerà davvero la sua preservata V-Card e Oli, pur di non farsi e farle del male, la schiverà in tutti i modi possibili.
Dritto in porta di R.C. Stephens aveva tutte le promesse per essere un buon libro solo che non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Ho amato i due protagonisti, ma non c’è stata una vera crescita nella storia: Sloane e Oli hanno quel qualcosa in comune, grazie al quale si sarebbero risparmiati volentieri tanti problemi nella vita, non solo nella storia, ovvero il loro conflitto intellettuale.
Inoltre, a mio avviso, dopo metà libro diventa tutto troppo frettoloso; un’accozzaglia di eventi un po’ troppo improbabili e surreali!

Romance and Fantasy for Cosmopolitan Girls
La trama carina mi ha invogliato a propormi per la lettura di questo romanzo, visto che storie del genere mi attraggono, premetto che non ho mai letto nulla di questa scrittrice, ma il fatto che io non abbia letto il primo volume di questa serie non è stato particolarmente incisivo, sono romanzi che non richiedono un eccessivo impegno e si lasciano leggere tranquillamente.
Come vi dicevo poche righe sopra, i romanzi con questo tipo di protagonisti mi affascinano sempre, ma questa volta non sono rimasta soddisfatta al 100%. Dritto in porta è diviso in punti di vista alterni, i protagonisti sono Oliver e Sloane. Oli è il fratello gemello della migliore amica di Sloane, che chi ha letto il primo libro della serie avrà conosciuto, in questa la ritroverà con tanto di famiglia al seguito.
Sloane lavora per un giornale, non è il massimo, ma ci paga le bollette, ha 27 anni ed è ancora vergine. Sua madre ha una teoria sulla sua vagina... ovvero sembra essere ostile. Dall'età di 19 anni si è presa una cotta per Oliver. Oli è un giocatore di hockey, su ghiaccio, professionista, dal linguaggio colorito, senza freni e peli sulla lingua. Malgrado questo sia uno sport romance, l'autrice lo menziona poco.
Un giorno si troveranno ad affrontare in auto e insieme al cane della sorella di Oli un lungo viaggio verso il Canada... I momenti trascorsi insieme, in passato, non sono stati molti.
Non mi scuserò per averti baciato.
Credo che quella ragazza mi abbia rovinato.
Anche Oliver è attratto da Sloane, ma è off-limits, è la migliore amica di sua sorella, praticamente quelle due sono come sorelle, vivono in simbiosi, si raccontano ogni aneddoto e lui ci tiene ai gioielli di famiglia. Ma nulla può verso l'attrazione... Solo un bacio, solo un assaggio... Sloane ha fantasticato così tante volte su come sarebbe stare in particolari posizioni insieme a lui, ma quando sgancia la bomba e tra i fumi dell'alcol svela che è vergine, lui si ritrae... metterà dei paletti, baserà tutto sull'amicizia. L'ultima cosa che vuole è rovinare il loro rapporto, anche se il fatto che nessuno sia mai stato dentro di lei lo allieta parecchio.
Santo cielo, è figlia di un pastore!
Se ha tenuto stretto così stretta la sua verginità ci sarà un motivo, giusto? O c'è una ragione diversa?
Sloane è fatta per impegnarsi, per il per sempre, non per una storia da una notte. Lui è da una botta e arrivederci a mai più. Non può fare questo a quella ragazza. Non se lo perdonerebbe mai.
Ma sarà questo il vero freno o il fatto che abbia perso i genitori in età giovanile, gli impedisca di legarsi davvero a qualcuno per paura?
Entrambi i protagonisti avranno dei demoni da sconfiggere, ma per farlo devono farsi coraggio e affrontarli solo così potranno andare avanti.
Nel romanzo non manca nulla, l'ironia, l'amicizia, le battute spinte, l'affetto e la perdita. Scritto bene, bei protagonisti, ma dire che rientrerà a far parte dei libri letti memorabili, non proprio. C'è incertezza tra i due, manca lo sport romance che tanto mi sarebbe piaciuto leggere e a tratti l'ho trovato ripetitivo. Non mi ha coinvolto completamente, purtroppo.
Voglio Sloane Carmichael nella mia vita.

Dritto in porta è la storia di Sloane la migliore amica di Flynn e sorella gemella di Oli giocatore di hockey della NHL. Aspettavo di leggere il secondo volume per conoscere i protagonisti che insieme ai precedenti, condividono una forte amicizia dai legami intrecciati e anche se sono storie con protagonisti diversi, vi consiglio la lettura anche del precedente per fruire delle dinamiche tra loro. È proprio Flynn a chiedere un grosso favore a Sloane, un viaggio in macchina verso il Canada con Chanse il suo cucciolo di Labrador. Nel corso degli anni, Flynn è diventata la sua migliore amica e non ha nessuna intenzione di deluderla anche quando le chiede di fare il viaggio con Oli per il quale nutre una forte ossessione.
Nell’ultimo decennio ho confrontato tutti i ragazzi con cui sono uscita con lui. Mmm, forse mamma ha ragione. Forse la mia vagina è ostile...
Nonostante si conoscano da anni, Oli ha sempre mantenuto le distanze da Sloane perché sa che è una brava ragazza e che desidera una relazione, mentre lui preferisce il sesso senza legami. Il motivo non è solo il lavoro da giocatore di hockey che comporta molti viaggi, ma anche perché crede che il futuro sia incerto e per questo motivo preferisce divertirsi. Tra i ragazzi c’è chimica, si piacciono molto, ma quando sul più bello, Sloane rivela di essere ancora vergine, Oli si rende conto di non essere l’uomo giusto per lei e che non può assecondare l’attrazione che prova nei suoi confronti.

E' quando Sloane cerca di andare avanti conoscendo nuove persone che Oli accecato dal sentimento della gelosia, si rende conto di avere delle parti spezzate seppellite così in profondità da mettere in discussione il rapporto di amicizia con lei. Anche Sloane nasconde i suoi demoni a causa di un passato che non è riuscita ancora a lasciarsi indietro.
Dritto in porta è un romanzo divertente che vi strapperà tante risate, ma è anche una storia intensa che parla di amici che diventano amanti, di orgasmi culinari, battute esplicite, di protagonisti reali che combattono e affrontano un passato ingombrante attraverso un percorso psicologico ben strutturato. Una storia sulle seconde possibilità che fa capire che al mondo non siamo soli quando troviamo la nostra anima gemella e che a volte la felicità bussa senza presentarsi e l’unica cosa da fare, è accoglierla e abbracciarla per essere veramente felici.

I understand now why I don't like stories with virgin female heroines at the age of late 20s and manwhores of the same age.. if there is an age gap, sometimes it's more convincing.
Yes Sloane is a special case because she had a tragic past but 10years??? Get some therapy and it's not that this is an exotic idea, her own mother is a sex Consultant.
I liked up until 70% of the story. Then Oli admits to her that after sleeping with her and taking her virginity and after fighting with his feelings, he has slept with other women, during the couple of months he ghosted her. OMG,🤬🤮🤢Sure they both agreed that it was a one time thing and it would have been ok, IF t was another couple not the main one, who we know have feelings for each other.
And then she gets pregnant and although she makes the perfect decision to go back to her home and practically cut off Oli, what happens when he tracks her down?? She takes him back and they have sex... She didn't make him grovel, she didn't make him wait for her to take a breath, she just saw him And batted her eyelashes. Yes she has been in love with him for many years, yes she knows he has severe commitment issues, yes she is pregnant with his baby but dude, he slept with other women while asking you to wait, while he friend zoned you until he gets therapy and understand his feelings.
Like I said, I would have been totally fine with the "wait for me" but is he a 15yo hormonal teenager that can't keep it tucked in?
Or is it under the umbrella of past trauma and self sabotage that he slept with women (how many? Probably more than one during these 2 months?) Well I wasn't convinced even if we got to read about his past and how it shaped him into this puck bunny chaser.
I liked Sloane's backstory with Parker and how it was only revealed towards the end. But I felt there was not so much characters development or their love story, seing them as a couple. They exchanged I love you's after the baby revelation and they have a happy ending.... Too abrupt and too forgiving 🥴

March 25, 2022El hockey sobre hielo debe ser el deporte de moda en Romancelandia. He descubierto no una ni dos, sino ¡tres series! que giran en torno a este deporte y que quiero seguir leyendo. Intenté esta cuarta de Big Stick que me llegó como freebie. Y aquí ya he pinchado. A alguien le leí en Goodreads que ponía una estrella a libros de los que decía... «¡Por fin, he llegado al final! Pero cual Sergei Bubka, saltándome partes». Eso me ha pasado a mi con esta novela. Solo que me he saltado tantas partes que no he llegado a leer ni el 50 % de lo que hay escrito. Por eso no le pongo estrellitas y considero que es en realidad un DNF.
Oli, un jugador de la NHL, solo liga con grupis. Es tan reacio al compromiso que, al final, para poder tener una relación auténtica con Sloane, necesita ir a terapia. No había chispa. Él me pareció un cretino y ella una sosa de cuidado, una de esas improbables vírgenes a los 27 años que, obviamente, la primera vez que tiene sexo acaba preñada. Pensé que al menos sería una historia sexi, pero no, cuatro escenas y muy amontonadas en la segunda parte. Ni por eso merece la pena.

Ann Arbor is not a small town!
The book was a good story, but I am very disappointed the author’s research. Yes, there are many small towns near Ann Arbor, but Ann Arbor is one is the most cultural and diverse cities in America. It’s hospital is world renown. So no it does not close on Good Friday. With the hospital and a world renowned college it boasts many very nice hotels, restaurants, shopping and Mechanics that are well verse with “ fancy cars.” It is an hour from the “Motor City!” There are auto engineering companies in the city!!! I am sorry but as a dedicated U of M fan and someone who lived, worked and went to school in the area, I say Do Your Research!!! Ann Arbor is a huge, very cultured and a metropolitan area. It is also named one of the best places to live in America!The small Ann Arbor Inn, really!!!

I loved this book! It was funny, charming and sexy.
Oli & Sloane have been attracted to each other since their awkward first meeting. A decade later, Sloane is wondering why her luck with men is so... unlucky, while Oli is struggling to understand why both his heart & *ahem* get excited whenever Sloane crosses his mind.
Both Sloane & Oli have their share of demons to fight. Though an enjoyable read, the author touches on the serious subjects of grief and mental health. But they don't overshadow the chemistry and romance in the book.
I recommend this book.

Fun read with emotional bits
Sloane and Oli have known each other for years, she's his sister's best friend, they're almost sister's in closeness so when Oli and Sloane are pushed together to drive his sister's dog north, well, let's just say sparks are going to fly. Sloane has held her V-card for twenty-five years(bad situation from the past) but now Oli's looking to hot to turn away, but when he friend zones her instead well life gets sticky. Oli has major mental hurdles to overcome if he's going to be serious about commitment can Sloane be his forever? Entertaining read with humor, heat and tension!

I enjoyed this friends-to-lovers, best friends brother romance. The chemistry was insane between Oli and Sloane. However, their fears and emotional baggage stood firmly in the way. I liked both the characters but also found them frustrating. Sloane's expectations seemed very unrealistic considering she knew Oliver so well. As for Oli, I could understand where his fear and pain was coming from but still thought he made some really idiotic and quite cruel mistakes. Still, there was a lot to keep you happy and entertained while reading this book.

E niente questa scrittrice mi piace sempre di più. Questa storia mi ha fatti venire le farfalle nello stomaco,una dolce storia d'amore dove entrambi crescono e cambiano insieme per sé stessi e per l'altro. Una storia d'amore che nasce piano piano ma che diventa la storia d'amore. I due protagonisti si conoscono da un bel pò entrambi sono attratti l'uno dall'altro ma sono sempre rimasti nell'ombra, complice la sorella di lui che vuole fare da cupido. Non vedo l'ora di leggere il prossimo libro. 5 stelle

This book is easy to get into and it not only gives you the present day information on this couple but it also shows the reader how this couple first met. The chemistry in this book is very much alive and well. The book itself definitely brings new meaning to the words 'building tension'.

Loved this story. The past haunts & hurts & stops them from loving but when Sloane & Oliver meet it all changes slowly. These 2 characters are quirky, sassy, sexy & dominating. One looking for love the other running the opposite way. Their friendship grows & also a budding relationship sort of. Until they can get past their fears & past they’re stuck in friend zone & a surprise is in store for them. Definitely recommend to read.

I was so excited to read this book and the beginning has a delicious forced proximity aspect that plays into this best friend’s brother romance! However, the characters ended up dancing around each other too much and it felt a little too dragged out at times.
Am I still going to read the next book bc we got teased about the couple in this book? Probably tbh… what can I say? I’m a sucker for a quick binge read!

Un libro spassoso per la maggior parte del tempo, si, perché questi due ragazzi insieme sono davvero due comici, ma c’è anche quella tristezza e sensibilità che mi fa stringere il cuore.
Libro davvero meraviglioso, ogni storia di questa serie mi ha lasciato qualcosa.
La scrittrice è fantastica nel raccontare ogni singolo pensiero e ogni singola emozione che i personaggi stanno affrontando.
Questi due gemelli sono fantastici, ma anche i loro compagni lo sono altrettanto.

Oli was a hot hockey hunk but there really was no hockey in this book, I don't even know what position he played (don't remember it being Mentioned). I love hockey player romance, I love the connection they have as a team and I didn't feel that in this book it seemed like it as just a job. There was lots of promise in the storyline and the flawed characters it just didn't jell for me.

Some sequential errors that drive me nuts . Like calling for an Uber when her phone been stolen and how did she pay .The details should have been clear . Lots of repetition. Needed to see them at work and playing hockey. Ending emotional as they put demons from past to rest . Bit of a surprise ending
