Foundation EMLC

The Stichting Early Modern Low Countries is a non-profit foundation established in 2017 by two societies, Werkgroep Zeventiende Eeuw and Werkgroep Achttiende Eeuw van de Maatschappij der Nederlandse Letterkunde. The foundation is registered at Hoge Hondstraat 10, 7413 CA Deventer, the Netherlands.

The foundation's statutory goal is to publish the open access journal entitled Early Modern Low Countries, based on the scholarly study of the cultural heritage of the Low Countries (the Netherlands and Belgium) and its overseas territories, with an interdisciplinary approach, covering the period from the late sixteenth to the early nineteenth century. The foundation manages the financial resources to realise this publication. The board members of the foundation do not receive any salary.

The foundation has received both the ANBI-status and cultural ANBI-status on 4 January 2017; its Tax Identification Number (TIN) is 8571 81 063.
