At Uppsala University, we have organized teams for international student competition in synthetic biology, iGEM (www.igem.org) since 2009. The activity is run as a course "Project in Laboratory Synthetic biology" 15 credits, with the main part taking part during the Summer semester. We also offer a course "International Summer School in Synthetic biology" 5 credits. We would love to form a network within ENLIGHT to share experiences and discuss possibilities for development.

I'm a professor in health psychology specializing in cardiovascular health. Being a clinical psychologist by training I'm interested in interventions and behaviour change, but also everything that has to do with the mind-body connection. In the framework of the ENLIGHT calls I am looking for other people interested in similar things. Maybe we can create an application either for the thematic network grant or the incubator grant.

Our group is working on development of nucleic acid transport vectors for the transfection of mammalian cells. This has applications in two directions: gene therapy and production of therapeutic proteins in mammalian cells.
